He he thanks FF. As they say it is hard to see the woods for the trees sometimes. Will have to update again as I have made another £130 payment and tomorrow will have another £170 to pay off it. Based on my calculations we should have another £450 next month. I will be really pleased once we have the debt at under £3000!!!
Got our loan statement yesterday. Can't believe how much money we wasted now. Its funny how this site has converted the way I think and spend money noe. If we go for lunch I plan to go where we can take vouchers etc. If we don't need it we don't buy! However I think my cooker has had it. A, just hoping DH can find a supplier and we can just get a spare part hmm - will update on that one!
Anyway I made £65 on ebay this week - this will clear my overdraft till payday next week! I have another 2 items selling and about another 12 to list. Will pop a couple on each night!
Wel will make my list for today
    - look a meal planners for next week
    - look at budget planner for next week
    - sort all washing - there is loads!!!
    - sort all bags cause its back to school tomorrow - check I have enough cash for dinner money! - I might start paying by cheque at the start of the month so the money goes in one swoop.
Also still waiting for the quidco money to tranfer - not sure how long this will take?? x

Naughty naughty not posting for so long- I know - things have been a little manic at the mo. I have my CC bill for this month and have £500 to pay off it yey! Next month hopefully will have same amount again to add!
Have a load of stuff sorted out for ebay but will do that once I have come back from my hols!! I am also working on a better plan for shopping as I really want to try and get our monthly bill under £200 espcially as things are tight at the mo. On a good point i have managed to pay another £100 off what I owe mum so down to £600 and will have another £100 for her next month! I have also done some overtime so will have an extra 5 hours on next month!
I was thinking about taking on another job but to be honest with 3 little ones and DH working away alot have probably got enough on my plate. i have got lots for my carboot - so pleased about that!
Things I need to do - change beds & empty washing machine - sort out meal planner for next week. Not too much cause got lots done this afternoon!:rotfl:

    Welcome back!

I was wondering where you had gone!

Re: getting a job - I think you're right about having enough to deal with having the three kids and all :D Could you look at the Up Your Income thread and see if there are things you could do to earn some extra cash like Ebay, Surveys etc.

Small amounts from those but every little helps!

Well I have just come back from my hols and had a lovely time. Sometimes getting away from it all helps to sort out things and put things into perspective!
FFresian - will be checking the upping your income board thanks for the tip!
I also have a few things from the hols to stick on ebay and plan to do a car boot sale in the next couple of weeks!
Did really well when I was away and didn't go into the overdraft by much this month. I also have overtime to go in yet. On the plus side my Ccard bill is down to £3550 yey and I have £600 in my spare account ready to pay off this as soon as the bill arrives. I cracked open my sealed tin and paid an extra £70 off my capital one bill also so pleased with that! Hubbie also has some over time lined up this month. I hope that if we can continue at this pace we can have the card pay off come end of august at least!
I can then attempt to make overpayments with my loan!! Wonder what I will do with all my money then lol!!!!:rotfl:

Just an update as I have been a bit lack and am trying to remotivate myself again. My CCard now stands at £3200 which means from July I will be under the £3000 barrier which will feel great! One thing I have learned is we will prob never have a CC again. Watching the money go every money makes me thing of all the cash we wasted!
We have also decided not to move but extend! We are a growing family and knew at some point we needed more space but have decided instead of taking on a bigger mortage we would do an extension. However we are not doing anything till the cc and next cards are completely paid off. Anyway will update again soon children are getting a bit wild lol! x:rotfl:

Hi Pinky, it sounds like you are doing really well, you should be very proud of yourself. I have been reading through some of these "debt diaries" and it is frightening to see how much debt some people have. At least you can see some light at the end of the tunnel.

    He he Thanks Miss Clampet!!
DH and I are going to sit down tonight when kiddiewinkles are in bed and relook at our money and budgeting for the next few months!
I have seen some spreadsheets knockin about so I will have a crack at using one of them!
We got a huge electric bill last week and I have queried it and it is correct. It is going from 45 per month to 112 per month. Thing is I cant understand. We use energy saving light bulbs through the house. One use one light on a afternoon cause only me and baby in. No one in on a morning and out all together most weekends. Granted our washer is on every day but I still think is seems an awful lot! I am hoping to pay £100 off the bill next month and hopefully reduce the monthly payments - am quite cross about it actually!!
I think DH will have to do any overtime going! Anyway will get on with my daily clicks and look to listing a few bits on ebay. My other job if the night is too look throught the fridge and freezers and do some meal planners. My food bills seem to be creeping up again so that is an area I will look to save in! Bye for now x

An update since my children up so early hmmm. Anyways have lots to do this pm mainly tidying and putting away. Washing to sort and rooms to hoover so will have to motivate myself.
The pay I this month I will give some to mum to hang onto eg £70 just to help in august when the kids are off. It will just mean I have extra for days out and actvities etc. We are also having a few weekends away in our caravan! I am hoping we can holiday in this the next few years and it will save us on the expense of going abroad. This way by the time little one is older we will have no debt and can therefore afford to go lol! I put a few things on ebay last week but hardly anything went and I didnt get much at all - people must be cutting down. I even did a carboot and we did rubbish! But then again it did rain! To be honest for the time and energy it took I would have been better off giving it all to charity and making food cut backs for the month for the extra. Tonight I am going to hit old style money savers and see what I can cut off my food bill for July. Any money I save can go towards my camping trips yey. I am hoping to shop for 5 of us in July for under £200. So I will update on what I spend and see how I do. That will save me £150 which will pay for trips out when we are away and prob our food and barbecue stuff - so that would be great. bye 4 now x

Well today am absoultely stony broke skint. I owe mum £12, I need £10 for the fun day sat, and I need £10 for DD Dinner next week. I also need £2.50 for clubs. Thankfully one has been cancelled so at least I don't need to pay for that this week. I don't have any back up money without tranferring from an ISA which I don't want to but may have to now. DH made some overtime this month but it has been swallowed up already. We got school photos done which I ordered - only because they are loads cheaper than going to a studio. Last time when DD was a baby we spend £250 at the studio. For 3 sets of various sizes it cost £90. I thought this was very money saver lol!
I have also ordered the school uniforms for september which accounts for the other bit of overtime. I am hoping the cut in food shopping combined with a little ebay money will pay for the tow bar. Then for the next couple of years we can tootle round the countryside on lots of cheap little getaways - that should ease the bank balance!
Tonight am going to list some items on ebay. I also need to remeber to keep motivated and do my daily clicks. I will pop over to the up your income board too - if I can find it.
After work while DD is asleep I am going to -
    - check all the bills and file away
    - Sort out all my work on the desk
    - Check what we have for food this weekend
    - Tidy DS room - it is a tip
If I can get all this done I will be pleased!
I started having a clear up last night and it felt really good - tomorrow I am going to get some storage boxes and sort out all the kids toys as they are all messed up and everywhere - I always feel better when they are tidied! Have a good day:j
