Total so far £118.87
Today is a NS day!!
Yesterday I orderd DS a lovely storage unit reduced to £24.99 - we can sort out all his toys properly now. He has lots of little things such as cars etc so will be better for him!
Meal Planner for week
Monday - sausage & Mash
Tuesday - Spag bol
Wednesday - Pizzas/ kids - scallops & chicken nuggets!
Thursday - Chicken casserole
Friday - Chippy night
I will through the week need to buy milk, cheese, yoghurts and fruit! So will look out for offers. When we next need a big stock up shop I have a £10 off a £50 spend in Tesco so will be using this!!
Have done all my admin work for today, washing sorted, tea organised, ironing ready to do when babies all in bed tonight.
Tomorrow I will attempt to find a builder for a few jobs I need done around the house. A week on monday I will have the money to make my CCard payment which will take it too under £3000.!! Whoo hoo. I think Pshcologically (sp?) this feels more like an achievement. If I can chop food bills down next month I will be able to use the additional money for treats during the holidays!! Then when the babies are back at school and c minders the extra can be slapped off some more of the bills. Car had to be servicesd the other day so have a feeling it may be a few hundred. Hopefully Dh overtime will go towards this. He is also having a meeting next week about a pay rise so fingers crossed!! Off to do my free scratches now! Will list a couple of items on ebay tonight if I can motivate myself. :T

It sounds like you are doing very well pinky. Paying off your cc that much is a real achievement, and you should be very pleased with yourself. Have you thought about trying carboot sales for toys and childrens clothes? You can get lots of really good things cheap. I buy lots of stuff for my 2 gc, and my dd is always really pleased.

Just a real quickie update - cos bambino needs waking up.
Total shopping spend so far £210.00 arrghhh. Got a load at Tescos though cos I had a £10 off a £50 spend voucher. Got it delivered which was very stress free and allowed me to avoid overspending on items whcih caught my eye. DH has some overtime lined up next month so will be putting that aside for the car service - it's alwasy something isn't it - sigh....
Tonight when kids in bed will create the meal planner for the week, do my daily clicks and scratches and check on my 12 ebay items I listed last night. I am hoping they will make enough to cover a small shortfall in one of the accounts - here hoping!
Thats all for now off to wake babes, give snack, INTgarden and off for the school run. Home, spellings, reading books and teas then off to the stables for DD1 riding lessons - It's a busy life being a mummy x

As of today ccard down to £3105 - whoo hoo nearly at my target which is under £3000 and then will set myself another target. Been so busy I have completely lost off with food budget so through august I am going to jot down everything in a notebook and then tranfer it too here. In my defence though I have been so busy and this week have already done 3 hours overtime and have another 6 on saturday. The overtime will pay our caravanning weekends. I have also seen a good offer on disposbale barbies 3 for £5 so may get these so we not tempted to eat out!!
A few thing selling on ebay so going to check in a bit and spend some time tomorrow packing up ready for sending. I have 2 more items which I am going to list so am hoping I will make enough to at least put £50 into my overdrawn account! :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done pinky, you are doing really well. I always find ordering online (not for fresh food or meat) helpful, since I don't impulse buy, and it is so stress free having it delivered to the front door. Plus it saves on petrol and time.

Well have made £30 on ebay so going to put some more items on to make it to £50. Then I can tranfer the money over. Am skint till next friday now so have £20 to last me and kids till then - wonder if I ever will have any money - hhmmm!
I look forward to the day when I have money in the bank still at least the third week through the month. I am going to rake through freezer tonight and plan on eating for the weekend and next week then am away for the weekend so they break will be nice am staying with family so hopefully will only need to pay for fish and chips!

Well sounds like you are doing well. It's hard to manage when youve got young children, because something always seems to come up that you haven't budgeted for. I have been eading in some of the other frums how expensive school trips and such like are. I think having a positve outlook and an action plan are half the battle.

Just a quick update - not an awful lot to say really. I have started this month taking out cash and putting it in envelopes so I can pay out for things we normally pay weekly at least that way I am not scrambling around for money at the end of the month as per usual so will see if that makes a difference. I have fallen behind with my ebaying so next week when I am feeling better will crack on with adding some more items.
My CCard bills are here and on tuesday I will make the payment which will make my debt under 3000. Funnily enough DH recieved a letter in the post upping our credit limits - well they can get stuffed!
We are hhoping to extend the house once all the bills are paid (u may well laugh!!!:rotfl:) I was looking at the super balance transfers - has anyone done this instead of taking out of a loan? What would the repayments be on the card and is their a calculator that cold help me work them out - thought I would ask all you money saver experts out there!! bb4n!
