Well so far a NSD today and another planned for tomorrow. We are having dinner at grans house and will then use up tins and bits in the fridge tomorrow. Trying to get motivated to do the house work but so far not happening! to do list
- sort washing
- pile of ironing
- bed to make
- photos for ebay
- wake baby up praying she is in a good mood.
In sept I started the sealed tin again filling it with any loose change. the idea being I open it a week before christmas and use it for a few treats while we are off at xmas eg mince pies, choccies and some beer. So once we open it and count will let you know how much we collected. I am going to do this again in Jan but maybe have a 50 p tin instead with same idea eg this time summer hols treats!

Well busy day and very bad head. Have transferred money for car and house insurance into savings account. I have bought my £10 car tax stamp think that it is due in march - mental note must check.
DH has set up a DDebit for £100 per month off the cCard. At least this way it gets paid and anything else we can afford can come off it!!
Have kept busy this pm anyway attacked the yucky bathroom - absolutely hate this room and will be pleased when we can get a new suite in next year!
I have wiped most of the tops around and had a quick hoover time just flies by the time I am finished it is time to do school run. Everyone was fed and actually ate well tonight - have already started meal planner for the week but have lots in the freezer anyway so should keep us going. Have pretty much got all christmas shopping I think this is the first year we have not touched the credit cards for this so feeling very pleased. We are really skint now but at least it's all paid for now!!!

Well mad busy next few days for me. Going to Blackpool for long weekend (taking drinks and food to stick to a low spend budget) Finally got £70 from Quidco - wait for in from March - god it has taken ages!!! Anyway am still waiting for another £100 which is tracking so may get that for next Christmas lol. DH is getting a promotion next year so am hoping that will come with a huge pay rise. If it is enough I am hoping to leave work and work say a day per week till little one goes to school. It is so hard when they are poorly and I feel I am constantly going in circles. So my new years resolution is too get everything paid and some saved so if I have the opportunity to leave I can jump at it lol. Well I won't get my hopes up I will have to wait and see!:rotfl:
When I get in from work today I have sssooooo much to do! I will try and tackle the ironing (wish I could afford a lady for that one!). I need to check I have school uniforms in case we back late from weekend away! All house needs hoovering actually think my hoover is on the way out - fab!! Anyway enjoy choccie number 2 not long till xmas!!!

Have had a very busy day today!! I managed a morning at work, tree put up, some ironing done and put away. I had a NSD - yey. Checked online banking, wrote out some xmas cards then littles ones helped me post some. I had a banging headache this pm but some tablets soons sorted that out and I almost feel rather human again lol. helped little ones finished their cards for school they are all in bags for tomorrow - god there were so many to write out!!! I did however buy them all last year really cheap in the sales. I also bought wrapping paper, tape, cards in the sales so haven't had to buy any wrapping equipment!!!
I keep meaning to list some stuff on ebay but havent quite got myself motivated yet!
Tomorrow is another busy old day and I think most days are up until xmas time - can't wait to have a couple of lazy days at home - pppllleeaassseeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Still full of cold! Am going to check the online banking today to see if I have anything left to pay towards c card!! I need to go my sratchies which I will do this pm!
Once I have broken up for xmas me and DH and going to redo our SOA and look at further ways to cut back - we are also doing weekly electric meter readings as we are paying loads back cause apparently we were underpaying - when I queried this she said that bills have gone up loads you know - and we are capped so we will be checking that out. It stands at £110 per month so am hoping next year can get it down to £60. Next bill down to £200 so will keep chopping away at that one.

hope you had a nice time away, sometimes its nice to have a break & get away from it all. Good luck with xmas money saving, its hard at this time of year, but its good to have jan 1st to look forward to, for a new year of money saving!!
