Had to spend £5 on juice, crisps and bananas for packed lunches this morning.
Planning to have a NSD tomorrow. This will be my 4th this month am hoping to go for at least 6 next months and build it up from there!
DH making more overtime than first anticipated so thats good. I have also found another box of things to put on ebay so will do this during the week. I have 3 hours overtime next week.
    Today I have
    - done my daily scratch 25p whoop whoop
    - checked my online banking
    - organised lists of where money needs to go next month
I am going to bed shortly as I am so tired. Have done 2 hours work tonight so have made good progress!

It's early and I haven't much to update really. I have added at least £4 to the sealed tin. I am only in overdraft by £20 and I have cash in the house to see me to payday, I have dinner money enveloped away.
I have done my daily scratches. When DH comes home he is going help me ebay a load more stuff. We are also collecting some good bits for our yearly carboot!
I have also decided that at the start of the month I am going to split money into envelopes eg club money, dinner money, window cleaner. This way at least everything is ready to be paid our without going for cash and being tempted by other things!! I am going to try and put away £50 next month as the childrens; swimming lessons will be to pay for. Once we are debt free we will just be able to pay out for these things straight off - can't wait.
I have my credit card cash in cupboard so will try and get to the bank to pay this in next couple of days - whoo hoo we also have a decent lump to knock off it next month 2!:rotfl:

Whoop whoop C Card under 4000!!! It stands at £3877! I hope to knock off at the very least another 800 next month! If not more depending on how the ebaying goes!
Have added £1 to my tin which is getting very heavy. Hopefully once full there may be at least £80 in it - hmm not sure how much they hold!
Will attempt to change sig now!

Well feeling a bit crappy on the spending front! Had 2 take aways this weekend. Fish and chips sat and food at the play centre today:confused:.
I know I know naughty naughty!!
I checked our cc statement today and yes we are under the 4000 mark. in fact if our budgeting is spot on next month we should be under 3000! Have I already said that - soz my brain is feeling fuzzy today lol!
Before pay day next week I will do my meal plans alothough I actually have lots left in the freezer. I spent £40 in asda on saturday and the fridge is fairly full and we have stuff for packed lunches. £1 more added to sealed tin and daily scratches done. I have got a load of stuff to list on ebay which I am gonna crack on with tomorrow night!
Shopping for this month so far £255. Next month I am going to try for £200!! Will take a look and see if their are any food/shopping challenges!

Well here I am having posted in ages I have been manically busy back at work and finishing my OU course. We have pretty much stuck to MSing though. All insurances have been done through quidco. I am going to rego through our finanaces today though as when I snowballed the loan if we can up the payments we could pay it off in 14 months. Sounds great. Once we are debt free I would still like to move bt the debt takes priority. Anyway kids and me off at mo so going to try and do some jobs and sort out for carboot. We have a hol in may and course finishes soon so will be leaving DIY till we get back. Its a shame house prices have dropped cos otherwise we could have sold, paid our debts and had enough for a deposit but think the house value has prob dropped about 10-15 k. Never mind!
    Today I aim to
    - redo budget
    - deliver easter eggs
    - hoover sofa - there is a funny smell coming from it - prob a dead banana or something???
    - ironing when babe is sleeping this pm
    - hound big kids into tidying rooms!
    Thats me for now!

    Welcome back!!

Are your bigger kids of an age where [strike]bribery[/strike] rewards would work to get the tidying? Stickers/ice-cream etc? If not, nag away!

He he thanks FF!! Yes was able to bribe hmm reward the kids for helping. They cleaned and sorted all the DVDs out and DD1 kindly cleaned the door from me which she was really proud of. DS and DD2 spent most of the morning playing with the fire guard and some sheets which kept them entertained!
I have had a real MSaving weekend. We went to a farm and took a packed lunch which saved about £20. Mum gave the kids money for icecreams and their gran gave them easter money which they spent in the gift shop. Sunday was lunch at Grans and she had baked a load of cakes for us. These can be used as snacks for this week while my hungry little monsters are off! They cost me a fortune lol. We had a cold lunch today and Mum made us a cooked tea. So apart from a compulsory required loaf of bread we spent nothing!! yeh!
Tomorrow is family allowance day so that will pay for trainers for DD and DS they are desperate!!! The rest will pay for our weekend away. DH has done loads of overtime again so will have extra for the CC! Next month will also have extra as we away on hols for 2 weeks so food money will go off bills!!
Today in regards to MSaving I have
    - done my free scratches
    - checked online statements
    - opened a new ISA for the year - online so I can check it!
    - done a food planner for the week
    Tomorrow -
    DD has injections
going for trainers for big kids
need to encourage the ch to attack some homework
    tidy up bedrooms
clean windows they are minging lol!!

Well here we go another MS day! Def not a NS day today kids needs trainers! I have been over to the old style board and got some fab recipes so will try one of this out tonight and see if kids like it - prob not fussy beggars!
I have started to look to transfer some of my ISA savings and the rate for the account I currently have is 0.5% carp I know! I think halifax said they have a 3% one don't know if they will let me transfer the money though!
I have already ordered a new boots card (DH lost mine:mad:) i am saving the points towards xmas. I have done my daily scratch, checked online banking and checked my ebay stuff - currently 4 items selling. I also found 3 other dresses last night (one donated by mum) to put on ebay so will do that tonight.
I have taken a look at the payment a day thread and think that looks fab so from next month may join this thread!
3 days ago I transferred quidco money but not such how long it will take to hit my bank account. The money will pay out home and contents insurance for the year outright so really pleased!!
I have a few things left to do today
    - Clean one window each day - uurrgghh may even do 2 if I can motivate myself
    - take babes for injections
    - town for trainers
    - hoover
    - washing on
Am off our tonight to a mates for a coffee so will not be studying - however a night off will prob do me the world of good.
I also need to recheck fruit & milk stocks so I can plan a shop when needed !!

Well updated my sig today and not very pleased as I don't feel I am making much progress. Had a £40 budget for shoppin today but spent £70 was gutted! Now I am £30 into the overdraft. I think i may need to relook at my shopping figures perhaps i am not being realistic. Things I didn't budget for were 2x pairs of jogging bottoms for DS £3 each (he was really desperate for them), 4 x bd cards, Indian meal which was about a fiver, I also doubled up on some items as they were reduced. Tonight I am going to go through the bak statements to see what I have actually spent on food this month! I have been on money saving old style and picked up a few tips from their!
I have several things finishing on ebay tomorrow so that can go towards clearing the overdraft!
I have done my scratches today and added £1 to my sealed tin - It is almost half full. When this one is full and paid off cc, I am going to start another one to save up money for xmas!

    Piffle, stuff and nonsense.

You have reduced your credit card from £4100 to £3770

By my reckoning that's a reduction of £330, which is a heck of a lot of money.

Now you sit there, have a cup of tea and a biscuit and be very proud of yourself dagnammit.
