Well went to docs this am and yes - throat infection, ear infection and swollen glands. I need to pop over this pm to collect my anti-biotics- off maternity exemption now so will have to pay - anyone know the cost these days??
I spent £9 in wilkos today on guinea pigs bedding and hay. These were on offer so that saved a bit. I also got some bargain pom bear crisps at 10p each. They need using by the end of the month but I have no worried that they will be eaten!
DD got a growing dino for 99p and spent 80p on sweets for babinos. I also got 2 easter pressies for 58p and my nan a gift for £1. So certainly some bargains to be had in town. the parking was even free today!
I have managed to list another 3 things on ebay and post another item. I am up to £36 and another 7 items are selling and due to finish in the next few days.
This pm I will have a sort through the cupboards and see what else we can stick on lol! If I managed to make £100 I would be over the moon and it would make a difference!
    Today I have to
    - Well am supposed to be in bed really resting - but not par of the course when you are a mummy!
    - hoover the stairs
    - assignment nearly done - check word count and that it actually makes sense
    - Climb to the top of the ironing pile and brush snow of some of the clothing we need
    - change dd bed
    - peel pots for dinner tonight - mum and dad are coming.
When I phoned my mum last night she answered - "Hello this is the bank of mum. We are currently closed now please call again during office hours! Was quite funny but I hate borrowing money and will be so pleased on tuesday when I can pay it back again!
I am dreading next month as DH is away most of it which means I have a party to sort on my own, 3 little ones to run after, an assignment to do as well as attempting to get my butt to work on time on a daily basis. I alwasy hate march for this reason although I know he had to go and it is importnat for the buisness!
Well thats me for now - going to try and eat something then lie down for an hour if I can - x

Am so bl**dy fed up today. Sorted the final payment out for our holiday only to find i had miscalculated and am £400 short - aarrggh. We have cancelled out planned trip to New York as we truly can't afford all these holidays we are planning. This hol will wait till loans and cc are paid off. I have stopped the overpayments on the mortgage for the next few months to allow a bit extra. I hope by august all the big things will be cleared and we should be back on track!
We got the caravan for free but then family wanted it shifted off its home so we had to fork out 230 for storage the owners of the barn then said we had to insure it 100. So this has completely stuffed everything budget wise!!
On top of this next month the car insurance is due along with the home insurnace and the car tax. We never seem to make headway with anything and am sick of juggling money around all the time. I was up till 1am last night worrying about it all. I have realised that we are living beyond our means and all the hols will be the first thing that must go! I was going to book a week in the summer at bamburgh but have abandoned that idea!
Well thats my rant over - always feels good to get it all out!! x

Well had another NSD today. Managed a Payment on C Card down to £4007 so next month should be under 4 yeah. Now I need to start planning to overpay on our loan.
Have had a busy day today cleaned house while little ones were out, got some washing and hoovering done! Sorted a casserole out for tea and turned down a meal invitation so I could save some cash! I have made £70 on ebay which I will put into my account shortly and go towards clearing some of the overdraft!

I think today will be classed as a low spend day lo. I am going to the shop shortly for milk and bananas.
I have updated my sig to show cc payment next month is will be under 4 grand yeah.
I am going to look at making some overpayments on Northern rock but over the phone. They only send annual statements so will make sure I keep a record of any overpayments I make.
We have decided in June after my course has finished and we have been on our hols we are going to start repainting room by room. So will be looking out for some cheapish paint. It hasn't been done for 5 years and beginning to look run down and slightly minging lol!

Haven't updated for a couple of days oops! Well the last few days I have been sorting out finances for march! I have made loads of lists and jiggled money all over to ensure all the bills are paid and we have some money left till DH comes home from work at the end of march. He is coming with me tomorrow to help do a big shop so we are stocked up while he is away. It will save me struggling with all the babies anyway! They are not best keen on shopping!!!! Unless it's for toys lol!
I have transferred some funds from ebay into my account which will help reduce the overdraft. My miscalculation on my hols is sorted. Mum said she will pay and I can give her it back at £100 per month or whatever I can manage - ta Mummy!!
We have cancelled the overpayments on our mortgage for the time being to pay off mum and help reduce the credit cards. Once these are paid we can up the amount again. i keep thinking of our long term aim of owning our forever house somewhere we will stay till the children leave home and we are ready to downsize. I love the house we are in and have permission to extend downstairs but DD2's room is tiny. It is fine for now but as she get's bigger she will of course need some more room! We have seen some homes in the village we live in and their are some possibilties once we are debt free!!

I managed to do a survey today and sold 2 more items on ebay. I have also done 4 hours overtime. So a little extra there anyway.

I am off for a bath shortly and need to sort the washing so will say goodnight for now x

Well just got in from work. Spent a naughty £2.00 on a sandwich and vanilla slice and feeling fulll but gulity lol. Am going to check email later to check if their are any surveys for me. I have 2 items selling on ebay!
It is payday today and I have checked my account but no sign of any money - I hope it arrives soon as I am going to asda in an hour. if my money doesn't go in we will have to use DH bd money to tide us over. he is going away an helping me with a big shop.
DH has taken out our cc money. i am going to give it too mum so we don't spend it and hopefully i can add to it this month.
    My aims this month are-
Make £60 on ebay for mum
    Stay out of the overdrafts
Have at least 10 NS Days!!
Complete at least one survey per day (if any suitable)
Continue to add to £1 tin which will go towards C Cards!
So a few goals there at least.
I have done my meal planner for next 2 weeks. With DH away that reduces the bill loads as I can survive on sandwiches and fruit!
DH hoping for a bumper overtime month. So hopefully come april there such be a significant change in my cc balance - hopefully!!!

Just a quick update today as I currently have 3 of my children crawling over me lol!
Today I did my free scratch and won 25p , completed a survey for a £1.00, 4 of my ebay items are selling and I have another 4 things to list yet! I have added another £2 to my sealed tin - but I have no idea what is in there it will be a surprise. I am hoping that when full it will make a dent in some of the bills.
I am popping into town shortly as baby is deperate for shoes. DS needed some trainers but popped inth adsa yesterday and got him a lovely pair for £1.50. They fit great and are just for playing outside in, on an evening! I will use my boots points for the few other things I need. Well am going to pop and have a shower then tidy up as we are going out for tea for DH BD!!

I love the Sealed Tin idea - I have one that I'm saving up to use for Christmas and everything I have in my purse under £1 goes in there, I'm aiming for £150 but think that there will be more in there by the time I open it up on 1st December.

Happy Birthday to DH - enjoy your night out :D

Morning all - Had a crap night last night afterall. A complete waste of money:confused:. Was orginally going to get a babysitter but family oh no bring the kids which I did. My 15 month old then spent the whole 2 hours running away whilst I followed! My tea was cold whilst everyone sat on their fat !!!!!! and stuffed their faces! What upset me is they are the ones who wanted me to fetch the kids. Nobody but my mum helped! In the end I put the 2 little ones in the car and came home! the rest stayed drank and had desserts. I was at home hungry with 2 of my little overtired kids. I wouldn't mind but I never get a break - could one of them not have helped- obviuosly not. Sorry rant over now I was really upset tho and next time will arrange a babysitter or just stay at home and have a take away!
I have done my free scratch today and I am going to do some listing on ebay tonight for extra funds during the month. I should be able to pay and extra £50 off my CC this month. I need to transfer my quidco money too - anyone know how to do this?
I have put another £1 in my tin and have enough cash to pay for dinner money and clubs this week so going to try not too touch the debit card!
Can't do any extra hours this month as DH away for most of it - but my aim is too finish my next assignment and start on some other bits of work - I have loads to do.

I think with Quidco you can give them your bank details and they send the money to you.

I am only just at the level of being paid from them and have given them my bank account details, so am hoping for a payment soon!
