Well having a NSD today. Thought I tried to go to the shop but couldn't get parked! DH has spent today though. Having said that he did buy gloves from Primark for the children so it was ok really. Don't want their ickle pinkies getting cold lol!
Only a quick update today as I need to cut babies toe nails and try and dress her again. She keeps whipping of socks and trousers !! Its far too chilly to be running around in the nudd!
I need to do a bit of tidying in the kitchen and then get sorted cause I have childrens friends coming round for a play. Only for an hour though thank goodness! Pizza for tea tonight and fish cakes and chippies for little ones. I am also going to aim to put 2 things on ebay tonight and try and get some work done when the kids are in bed. While I do this going to ask DH to kindly sweep and mop the floors as they are minging!! :rotfl:

Hey there Laura - thanks for reading! I am just plodding on with the diary so I can see my progress and keep motivated!
Well this month we don't pay council tax so am taking the month out of the bank and giving it to mum to hang onto for when the car insurance id due. We have enough saved in our quidco accounts and with the coucil tax this month and next will have enough to pay for the year - yay!! Not getting bunged on cc cards like usually would lol!
Today def won't be a NS day as I have family coming for tea and need to buy some mince. I have everything else though so this will be my only outgoing!
Tonight I am going to sort out money for next month -
I owe mum £170 for caravan storage for the year (the caravan is my secret money busting weapon as there are 5 of us now - before my LBM I booked 2 weeks away and we owe £2900 however I saved hard and paid bits off and as it stands owe around £400) My LBM helped me realise this could have nearly paid off my CC card. But hey ho it will be fab and won't be having 2 weeks abroad for a few years till debt clears - hence caravan. (which may I add I got my a money busting £0!!! DH - Mum and dad gave it to us.
Anyway back to the hols , it is all inclusive so once we get their we won't spend much so will go have a good time and try not to think what else we could have spent on.
Our summer hols will be spent in caravan I know the kids will love this!
    Today I have to
    - err go to work
    - buy mince and make tea for ma and pa!
    - try and get mum to do some ironing me me:A
    - Mop floors tonight when everyone in bed
    - Change DD cot
Last night I also got 4 items listed on ebay and will check how they are doing tonight.
Tonight I will try and list 2 more items. I will put the money towards home insurance which is due in april and try and go through quidco.
Also I think DH may have had a LBM. He has cut back loads and really getting into Not spending. He had to go for gloves for kids yesterday and came back with 6 pairs for £2 reduced in primark. He was so pleased with himself bless.
Sorry money for next month - £175 for mum
    Party - £150 (I think)
Try and overpay £50 on Northern Rock Loan
hmmm will update later when I remember the rest lol x

Well got loads done at work today so feeling motivated and ready to chill out this pm. Tonight we are having a treat and going for fish and chips. But we do actually have sausages or burgers as they are cheaper lol.
Kids have swimming tomorrow so will pack snacks and drinks as they cost a fortune in the vending machines. Last week DS pressed the buttons and released a free tracker bar. He rushed it over to me saying 'mummy I got it for you cos I know you like them!' My little sweetheart was so chuffed with himself!! I wish he would stay 4 forever, he is so sweet, he comes shopping to keep me company and tells me all the time how pretty I am and how much he loves me!! It is so cute. I am sure with time that will wear off though! lol
Anyway back to the large hole of debt. Have been playing about with the snowballing calculator and if I can manage to overpay by 100 per month I will reduce the term to just over 2 and a half years (from 8!!) . Then once my CC is paid off I will direct these payments to wards this loan which will reduce it more. I may try and take on some extra work in the hols but it is always difficult with 3 little ones as the childcare works out at 30 per morning! So perhaps I will stick to Ebay. I have 2 items selling and aiming to stick 2 more items on tonigh. I am really cross at myself for taking out the northern rock loan. The loan was taken out as our CC were so high so we consolidated them into a loan. And guess what we still have a CC debt of around 4100. If we hadnd been so irresponsible with money we wouldn't have too pay it all back. Anyway a hard lesson has been learned.
Another blow today came in the form of HSBC. I looked at changing to a tracker rates. The houses in our area are still selling though a little slow. The houses in the next street have a small garden and one just sold for 120000. There is another one just up for sale at 125000. Our home is the same size but we have 4 bedrooms whereas they only have 3. Anyway soz rambling now. I felt a reasonable estimate for selling ours quick would be around 114950. It was values at the peak for 124950 so allowed for 10000 drop. The cheeky toads came back and said no no our house is worth only 92000. Now based on THERE figures our loan to value means the rates we can have are much higher - surprise surprise. We have 3 years left on our fixed so will prob stick with that at the mo. Never mind I have plenty of other debt to be cracking on with lol.
    Left to do
    - Chase up PASSPORT - at this rate DD won;t be travelling with us
    - Tumble drier on as upstairs now resembles a chinese laundry
    - Change DS bed
    - Wrap pressie for DS party tomorrow

Thanks Martin for the advice on mortgage exit fees. I claimed £35 back today. I tried Intelligent Finance but they said the fees have always been the same - I didn't really understand to be honest!
Anyway I now have £75 to live on for the rest of the month! Well am stocked up on nappies and wipes and have plenty in the freezer. All bills are paid so it is certainly within reach. OOh no overdraft would be great!! Only 22 more days till pay day lol.:T

So far a NS day! Mum bought little one some lovely fleecy tops and some socks today. Very cute and ideal for cold weather.
Got our 0% CC today. I am going to transfer Next 27% onto it and crack on paying it off. I checked out quidco accounts today and we have £100 to out towards the car insurance plus anything we get for that through quidco of course.
Off for a nap shortly as I have been up with DD through night and am knackered. This pm am taking DS to a party. DH is spending time with his gorgeous girls as he calls them (he is so soft with them!). We are eating out of the freezer tonight. Tomorrow going to Nans for lunch so NS there. If the weather not too bad might pop to park for a run around. So should def be a NS day.
Went to see the caravan today it is fab and in great condition. We can;t wait ti get away in it. We are hoping to clear as much debt as poss so in the future can take the caravan to france for 3-4 weeks every summer!! At the mo this is impossible so must crack on.
Spoke to northern rock yesterday and got all details we need to make overpayments!!

Here we are another day over! Was feeling particulay motivated but kids are driving me round the bend and now feel dead fed up again. Also I spent £25 on food in Morrisons and we need diesal so surprise gonna be in overdraft again no doubt!!
I have managed to put another 5 items on ebay and had a mass clearout of DD room for car boot.
We have been out for a lovely lunch and are just having sandwiches for tea! I aim to have a NS Week this week. Having said that work owe me £20 so may be able to recoup some ground on the O Draft there!
Am thinking about looking for another job but between 3 kids my part time job and degree course I am absolutely shattered. May look for some extra work when the weather is better and the nights are lighter - may no be as bad then??
DD now wants to go onto school dinners so will have to dig about for extra money this week - well thats all for tonight - feeling crap anyway and to be honesy a tad demotivated!

Well will post while I am full of salad sandwiches and choccie brownies and on a sugar high! A busy morning at work lots done. Reclaimed extras so I will get DH to pay into bank tomorrow. He is going to get some plastic tubs so I can freeze any food I have left over.
I have spent the total of £1 today - naughty girl a sandwich from the shop!! Yes I could have made this at home but was absolutely starving!!
Have a few things to do before getting sproggies from school.
    - hoover as baby has just crumpled pringles all over my rug.
    - Sort washing out
    - wipe kitchen tops down and empty dishwasher
    - organise tea for kids and then hubbies
    - Wrap pressie for christening at the weekend. ( duplicate gift given for dd - so no spend here!)
    - Organsise to transfer next bill to new 0% card and then crack on clearing it!
Am off to check on what stuff is selling on ebay!
