Hello peeps
Hope you are all ok ?
Bowski_1011 - You are right it was a long post ! ..... Just imagine me in " real life " i never shut up !!.......
clarissa_D - You may want to tell me to " butt out " but are you sure it's a good idea to put the " savings " into your O/H account as you have said before that he takes after his mum when it comes to money ...... I know you have said he is a " different man " now, but " old habits die hard ! " ......Please don't take " offence at what i have just said......You are doing really well with just using nappies at night for your little one
....
gilly1964 - Yikes .....That is a massive payment from you today.....Well done on your internet provider savings and sky savings :j......
newmum1 - HiGood luck with your payment a day , either small or large it all adds up to helping us reach our goal of being debt free .....
Greenbynature - Really pleased to hear that your ex finally put a cheque through your door last night ..... At least it's better late than never....
Double Trouble - Hmmmmmmm i'm not sure what i would do if i was in your position ..... If the interest rates were higher then i would have put the money in a savings account , but as it is at the moment i'm not sure if it's worth the bother to be honest ??..... Decisions ..... Decisions ! .....
tomtombeanie - Hi ya, nice to see you back ......I don't envy you having to catch up on all the " posts "..... I missed 2 days and had just under 200 to read yesterday ..... How did your grandads funeral go .....Is your dad still here or has he had to go back already ?
......
Weebag - Hi Mark , it's great that you are managing to make money on your company car fuel..... Lovely to hear that there are still some great dads around although unfortunately there don't seem to be too many men like you !...... Very nice to hear that your ex and partner came to your wedding
.....
joeyjimbles - Great to hear that you have almost cleared another card.... Well done you are doing really well ....
tuppie - Well done to you as well , as we all need each other to keep us all motivated !.....
paybacktime2008 - Oooooooh Errrrrrr ! You are sounding very happy and " loved up " today ! ...... I reckon there has to be a man involved ! ?..... Come on .... spill the beans ..... Who is he ?

To be honest i'm really pleased because i've had a really heavy booze week ! ...... not to mention all the carp that i've been eating ! and really thought that i must have put on weight
........ So i'm very lucky that i haven't ..... I'm now going to get my " aris in gear " and really " knuckle down " this week ! .....she says ! ....

whew! i'm a pretty fast reader, but that was something else! what a busy roller coaster of a week for all the lovely PAD people...i've missed you! :cheesy:
still, back now and up to date on all the goings on. the funeral was (as far as funerals go...) a really lovely one - just about everyone from our family managed to attend & give grandad a really good send off. it was great to see everyone (why do we only seem to get together for sad occasions?!) and the kids had fun meeting new cousins and being fussed over by all the relatives. my dad & sister both flew back to america at the end of last week but only 6 months til we fly out to see them.
i was (and am) desperately sorry for my dad - who is just so far away - and my aunty, who has lived with and looked after grandad for years, and for my uncle who is so kind...they have lost their dad. one day, that will be me. i think that's why i found the build up to the funeral so difficult. just reminds you very plainly how temporary we all are...still, happy memories and i'm sleeping again, so today life is good.
we had a lovely weekend at center parcs, not very MSE money wise although we did eat 2 out of 3 meals each day in our lodge ("prepared" by me in the very loosest sense of the word - pizza, hot dogs, cereal etc). given my eating and drinking habits, i didn't bother weighing myself yesterday but may have a quick peep on friday.
although i have done my PAD everyday, i have allowed myself to be careless with my precisely planned budget over the last 3 to 4 weeks. so i really need to watch what i spend this month (our pay day is 6th, so the next one's a long way off!). with this in mind, i have some "fridge bottom soup" in the slow cooker for tomorrow and am finishing off the last of the christmas sherryrather than opening a new bottle of wine.
love & hugs to all - and thanks for the sloppy kiss... xx ... just the way i like them! (sloppy, not snotty, which is what i usually get - one of the many joys of having a 3 year old mummy's boy :rotfl:)
xx ttbMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A
