Agree with you weebag that not all men are like my ex, there are some nice guys out there, I have a really great guy now even if we don't always see eye to eye I can't fault him on how he looks after his DD.

It all adds up, and it's regulating how much money I put on my computer for drinks and dinner.... 50p for a tea this afternoon, and 65p for a soup to suppliment my cheese sandwich from home.

    Happy days.
  • Morning PAD gang
Greenbynature - what a palava that card has turned into. I would just sit back and let them work it out for themselves. Have you made a log of all the calls you've made?? I'd make a complaint about their poor service which has taken up your valuable time.
I think greenbynature must be my secret twin that only Hopeful 1 knows about :D. I wish I was more green (a bit lazy on that front must do better) I am definitely trouble. I am going to let them realise it by themselves and see how long I can have the £29.01 on interest free and when they do realise see if I can get them to write it off.

£15.00 to Halifax CC for me today.

Off to do a mystery shop now.

  • Hello, I've lurked since last summer when everything shot up in price and I had a very scary lightbulb moment. I've picked up loads of tips from these forums and have made loads of savings - thanks to everyone who posts on here!

Can I elbow my way into this payment a day challenge please? I've just set up online accounts with my credit cards (I didn't even know I could do this - I've been posting cheques alongside my minimum payments which has been pretty tedious). This will make the extra payments soooo much easier. So thanks to whoever it was who casually mentioned they have an online account with their credit card for giving me the idea. :o

Anyway, to catch up with the rest of you, I've made a £14 payment to my highest interest rate card today (that's £1 a day from 1 Jan!).

My budget is pretty tight as it is, but my thoughts for making extra payments include:
    • Money left over from shopping budget.
    • Money left over from petrol budget.
    • Sales on ebay.
    • Bonuses or pay rises (well, I can live in hope).
    • Money earned through Quidco etc.
    • Savings from switching energy suppliers, insurance policies etc.
That's it from me. Thanks for having me!
