I am soooo relieved that I do not need to go into work today until much later for a meeting. I have been exhausted over recent weeks, i have the throat from hell and just want to veg out for a couple of hours.

Clearing: No need for you to go when you have paid off your cc, I know I shall stay and use this fab thread to ensure I don't get myself into this godawful mess again...especially with the tax man.

I am new to this board but after getting down in the dumps about credit card debt I am being positive and doing something about it! I haven't used the card in ages so that was one thing but today after reading this thread (not all of it!!!!) I have been inspired to pay off £4.39!!!!!!

Very excited now and I am amazed how paying off such a small amount has made me feel like I can actually do this. My payments will probably be quite small each day but every little bit brings down that total. :T

Thanks Mumof4! Think I am here for the long haul especially as i have just had a baby and there is no better motivation to want a debt free future.

I got my first £4.39 by rounding up all the direct debits to the nearest £ so will do that every month as a starting point, I was even motivated to do my daily clicks that I havent donev for months.

So thanks to all for the motivation and looking forward to getting to know you.
