OoO thank you! I may just do that!! I'm going for a PGCE interview to be an Art teacher. The course is pretty new catered to teach GCSE and A Level - so scary but I SO want to do it! It's a year if I get on but no idea how I'm going to sort out the ol' moonay and CC's!

I added 6p to my jar, and tried to pay £1 off my Lloyds card, but NatWest won't let me set the card up as a payee at the moment, so have transferred the £1 into a separate account and will pay it when I figure how to

Hi all...I'm often reading this fantastic site, but the 'payment a day' thread really caught my eye and prompted me to sign up and join in. Its so simple and every penny will make a difference, so every day when I check my online bank account, I am going to put any leftover pence towards my debts, and I have also started a change jar where I am putting my coppers, 5p and 20p pieces. Thanks for so many interesting ideas and inspiration. Also, thanks for the many vouchers and coupons that I have used in the past, most recently a hotel room for less than half price that I got £25 towards when I signed up to Hotel Club some time ago from a link in one of Martin's weekly emails.

I've been playing around this afternoon by trying to load some animated avatars ...... but only " small pictures " seem to load .....so I think it may have something to do with the " size " of them ..... If you want me to , i could " PM " you a link for a website that has loads of images on , if you have a look through you may well find a " smaller " image to try ...... As for asking you advice ..... Can you freeze mash potato ? ! .....

Here's my Good and Bad for today ...

The Good - Added £2 to my pot ....
Added 4p to copper pot ! ...
Diet - Well i lasted from 4am until 9am this morning being good !
....
The Bad - Hells bells ..... I don't know where to start .....
Diet - from 9am this morning my diet has gone to pot ! ...... One of the girls at work bought me in a large bar of galaxy CHOCCY ........ and not wanting to be rude i had to eat half , while she was there with me ! ....
Later i went into Iceland and they had boxes of mince pies reduced to 50p a box ...... you can guess the rest ..... yes i just had to buy one box ......
Then in their " booze " section they had bottles of Choc Amore ( the tightwads version of Baileys ! ) , anyway there was this " poor and lonely " bottle sitting on the shelf reduced to £2 ......i just couldn't leave it sitting there all by itself ...... you've guessed it ...... i had to buy it ! ....
I was cooking a roast for tea , took the pork out the oven ..... and for once the " crackling " on it was perfect ..... yes ....... I ate the all the " crackling " !! .....
So to sum up ..... had the large bar of galaxy , ate the mince pies , drunk the bottle of Choc Amore ( tasted alright ! ) and ate all the " crackling " and my roast dinner .....
But ...... I WILL be " back on track " tomorrow ....
