Pad today is £7.75 again to Vanquis.
Paypal deducted £11 something from my account so tomorrows pad will be £3 something
Ok I have a dilemma and wanted your opinions if no one minds?
This morning I received my expected Quidco/topcashback/internetcashback etc amounting to £125 :T
I also receieved another payment that wasnt expected so like a bonus as I always allocate money in advance and I dont know what to do with it.
Alltogether todays funds amount to £300
My debts now stand at CC £4600.00 and Vanquis £800 ish with a dfd of aug/sept 2009. woop woop
My head tells me to throw the £300 at our debts knocking a whole week off our dfd (I paid £369 yesterday so feel ive done good this week iyswim)
But my eldest dd starts high school in sept and needs about £150 worth of uniform, we also REALLY want a holiday in August and need passports renewing and holiday clothesetc)
Dh given half a chance would just waste it so I need to decide before he does
Ohhh theres a million things we need/want including a new dryer
What do I do?? help
Happy hump day all, off to update my sig
Mumof4
A week longer in debt is not going to make a difference in my opinion.
I would use £150 for school uniform that you are definitely going to have to pay for and is one less thing to worry about and the rest towards your holiday we all need a break sometime and debt busting can mean we forget to have a life as well. Your debts are going in the right direction and that's what counts.
Hope this helps.

£93.75 for me today: that's Quidco money (large amount as we took out a mobile phone contract) and a bit from Topcashback
I'm hoping it won't be too long before the card I am attacking is paid off: I'd never have thought that when I took it out in September and I'm looking forward to attacking another card shortly!MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

I would say the uniform is obviously a must. I also think a holiday is good for us all, especially the children. Could you pay the money onto your credit card while you decide, so at least the interest or balance is reduced for a little?
I think we all suffer enough with debt and need to grab every opportunity to relax and enjoy ourselves - life's far too short not too xxxOne step at a time0 -

I love hump day! It used to be a really non day but now I know i'm free wheeling towards the weekend I love it!
My PAD is £60.00 - made up from a £10 treatment I fitted in as a favour for a parent at school, £10 I found in my mobile phone holder and £40 from quidco! This has put me three days ahead of target which I really need as i've got a quiet week for work next week. I know I won't always be able to manage £20 a day but at least I know roughly what I need to stay on target! Told you i'd get obsessed again!!! :rotfl:0 -
Every little helps in our goal to be debt free.

mumof3monkies.....it has to be the uniform otherwise you will be fretting all summer....oh and order or buy at the begining of the summer taking into account possible growth spurts as by Aug they are always sold out.....you'd think they would realise to stock up at this time of year but no every year its the same....what a palava!!!
Take care eveyone and good luck with your pads.

me and bf sat down last night working out how much we need to come in each other month to pay anything
 Scary but manageable with some tweaking here and there we shouldnt struggle but we wont have any major treats, Am also thinking of going back out to work rather than working at home full time so i know i have a full income coming in then what i earn from home is a bonus on top.... thing is.......... no jobs about right now
