I nearly cried on the phone - how pathetic am I?!
you're not at all pathetic - you can't help what scares you! my DH is the same, he didn't go to the dentist for nearly 20 years, then before xmas had terrible pain and finally had to go. he needed a couple of fillings, it tunrned out, and my dentist was absolutely lovely with him - took everything slowly, explained things (he wanted to know, maybe you prefer not to - whatever is best!) and most importantly, reassured him that he wasn't daft - it IS scary if that's what scares you! someone else said that dentistry has moved on a lot in the last few years and from what i've seen, i have to agree. good luck xxxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Hi All
Came back from a second pad of £3.25.
Thankyou all mumof3, vinternet, clarrisa, greenbynature and cydney65 for all your good wishes. I wasnt in a&e for too long. Came out with 3 cracked ribs. Well I did actually go in there with them but had no idea what I would walk I mean crawl out knowing. Loads of pain relief and tlc.
Oh and vinternet believe me I am the biggest woos of all I get the cream they put on really small children before the needle goes in to numb the area. How embarrasing is that. Good Luck at the dentist!!
And good luck to everyone with their pads for the day.
