My daughter was born 8 weeks early ....... i had a caesarian ( sp ? ) ....... to be honest i had always wanted a caesarian ...... so i skipped all the pain as such ....

I had no trouble bonding with first baby I couldn't take my eyes off this gorgeous perfect baby that I had made lol was totally besotted with him. It was last baby that I had problems with, I suffered from baby blues for awhile after I had him and couldn't stop crying,any little thing set me off, I think it was because when I was pregnant I was convinced he was a girl and I desperately wanted one, I knew I was never going to have another baby. I love him to bits and wouldn't change him for the world but still would've loved a girl!

My waters broke about 12 weeks before baby was due .....
So i hadn't even been to any antenatal classes ......
Anyway the other half was away for the week when my waters broke late one evening ....... so i thought the next thing to happen would be the pain ! ...... Anyway 24 hous later i'm still at home ...... waters still going ! ...... So i rung the hospital and they told me to go straight in ....

Apparently there are 2 sets of waters ...... one back and one front ...... i can't remember which ones broke but not the ones that " set labour off " .....
So i was told i would have to stay in for the 12 plus weeks until baby was born ! ........ great ....
But it so happened there were complications and she was born by caesarian 8 weeks early .....

My god Terri 12 weeks in hospital!! Bet you were climbing the walls? I hate hospitals, they're boring, way too hot and the foods crap lol

I'm going to have to toddle off now - OH wants to check his emails (humph ! shouldn't be allowed!)

Suppose I ought to go to bed anyway - work tomorrow (sorry for using a 4 letter word!). I will be watching the 1st repeat of Being Human in about an hour's time though!

I never bonded straight away ...... i think one of the reasons was that i never saw her straight away ...... she was taken to the special care baby unit because she was early ....... it was about 12 hours later that i saw her .....
I also had to leave her in hospital for a month or so after i came out ....
