One thing I forgot to mention - DS was also born by Emergency Caesarian under general anaesthetic, which was also a bit of shock! He was a footling breach and I should have been having an elective Caesarian - I went in for a scan to see if he was still in the same position and my waters broke in the waiting room! My scan appt was 2:30pm and he was born at 4.44pm!PigginSkint's debt free diary

At some point! Though of course I can't really leave it too much longer. The trouble is I really need to clear a big chunk of my debt first. Now that OH is paying his way a bit more - paying his half of the household bills - by giving me £95 a week, this frees up a lot of my income so that I can make big payments a day. Hopefully this means that the debt should start to clear at a much faster rate than it has been since my LBM - that is until something else comes and bites me on the bum, which I am always half expecting!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Tell me about it! It made it hard to bond at first - one minute I was 'wet' with a few mild period pains (or that's what it felt like) the next there was a baby in cot on the other side of the room - he could have been anyone's!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Because of the position he was in it was too dangerous to labour - I was already in labour! An epidural apparently takes 1/2 hour to take effect and they didn't want to wait that long because it was too dangerous for me and the baby, so a general anaesthetic it was!PigginSkint's debt free diary
