Total so far today £648.44 including £30 from me.
Having a mare with my front door....can't open it. It's upvc so i know it hasnt swelled, one of the locks is jamming...for the last few days we have been going out the back door bit of a nightmare. Rang a guy today and he is coming tomorrow. He thinks he will have to replace locking system and thinks it will be £200! In January I set up an emergency fund of £50 a month so only need to find £100 but still a pita. But kind of pleased that my new lifestyle of NO credit cards is maintainable for now at least.
Please keep your fingers crossed for snow in Wilts.....really could do without going to work tomorrow....got heaps to do!LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -

Hi paybacktime
Not sure if this is any help to you but my door kept getting stuck. I sprayed in the keyhole and at the side of the door (where the lock mechanism is) with wd40 and it seemed to fix it? Might be worth a try?

Evening everyone,
still no payment from me today as i have totally run out of money until OH gets paid on friday. But i just thought i would drop by to see how everyone is doing?
I am having one of those days today, nothing in particular has happened but i am just really fed up! So much so that OH and had a small disagreement earlier and i burst into tears,,god knows why??? OH felt really guilty though. Bless him :rotfl:
Well done to anyone who has paid off another card, and to those who are close to doing so.
Ooh and those chocolates and biscuits look very nice, i quite fancy some chocolate now!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
:hello: Brrrr it's a wee bit nippy out there tonight! I'm all snuggled up in me pyjamasons, fluffy dressing gown and a brew. Thought I'd pass the hot chocolate round if any one fancies some?
It's 9 days until pay day so that means the tenner I have left is covered for the PAD postings for the next few days. So whatever's left in my purse I'm throwing into the Cosmotini mug - another £2.50 for the pot please! :j
:T Fab news nearly clearing off the Barclaycard weebag - muchos jealous but well done! :T
:T Congratulations on clearing the MINT card flyingscottie! :j
I can't wait to throw loads of money at both of them and getting rid! Think I'm still going to have to concentrate on the nasty Virgin card though as that's my highest interest rate but I don't seem to be getting very far
Any luck on the 20p's yet LondonAndy? I've raided my pot but no such luck!
I'll see what treats I have available for you tomorrow TerriCakies seem to be hot favourites! :rotfl:
Hope everyone's feeling okio? Nearly Friday people! :j

Flower - dont be down hun. I've said it before - being in debt is tiring because it can consume you - thinking about payday, payments to be made, cost of shopping, clothes, general living, stressing when something goes wrong...it's never ending.
Focus on how far you have come. One day there will be less to worry about and we might even have some sun!!
Go and do something nice for you. I'm not a relax in the bath kinda girl (i get bored!!) but i love to sit and do my nails. I don't do it as often as i should so it always feels like a treat - mmm does that just make me sad??? :rotfl:
Take care hun xxxOne step at a time0 -
Aaargh! Egg have just sent me a "Important changes about your egg card" email! They are increasing my interest rate to 26.9%!
I was only at 17.9% 6 months ago! So that's Virgin at 34.9%, Egg going to 26.9%... how am I ever going to get straight?
