  • Paulgonnabedebtfree it seems like a good move to me and is basically what I have been doing with my CC debts I know the fees mean that your debt goes up for a bit but the interest saved more than compensates for that. I have saved £670 in interest each month so it seems a good plan to me.

Whilst you're sat around (large assumption that this is what you are doing when you're not cleaning windows - slight George Fornby tune now beginning in head!), have you looked at something like Slice The Pie to make yourself a few pennies. There are at least two threads about it on the Up Your Income board. In my 'spare' time last month I made £75 which at least helped towards my debt reduction.

I will take a look at that thanks.
Although not doing paid work, I am sorting out my flat. Also, I am gradually sifting through the garage I rent to dump stuff at the tip. Plenty of sellables in there too but I would rather do a boot sale in Spring than doing ebay. When I've finally emptied it out (and there's a LOT in there), I intend to hand the garage back to the council saving £9 a week. I have ladders in there that I wish to keep but I've been promised a free home for them when I need it. Also, I have a couple of bits in there for freecycle. I'm happy to contribute to itas it's helped me.
In truth, I've needed a bit of time off lately to get my home together and to start planning the next stage of my business.

REALLY BAD weekend guys! well no just yesterday. everything was just goin bad! i had bought a return tram fare and used the out portion, but got a taxi back as i had loads of shoppin. then left to go home later on and bought a single ticket but realised i had left my phone at my mates house so got off and got on goin back, but STUPIDLY paid for a return again as i needed to come back to catch a train.

anyway after gettin to station my suitcase BREAKS! One of the wheels busted off! so i was scaping it around! anyway finally get to station and miss my connecting as I was takin so much time travellin with the case so waited 30 mins for next train. the journey was ova long and we stopped on the tracks to be told, there was 'signal failure ahead'. so a normal 15 min journey took 40. anyways i get off my stop at about 10.15pm and call my taxi as by then it was heavy snow and my case was close to bustin. taxi firm says he only has 1 driver who is goin home now and that he has to get paid to sit there tellin every1 'sorry were closed'. at this point a bus passes me. so i ask other people also at the station for a taxi # and as they are ordering theres they offer to order me one. then another bus comes and they LEG IT!!!! i couldnt as my case was broken. another woman hears my pleas so gives me another number and they say 'NO TAXI' and hang up!!!!!!!

I phone my firm back asking for another number and GUESS WHAT????? Yes my battery dies!!

so im now stranded 2 miles from home with a broken suitcase and other bags with NO means of contacting anyone (the station doesnt have pay phones). i see a few black cabs pass, so i hail, but they just drive on! (guessin they had clocked off and were gettin home?!)

so i walk to the bus stop and wait for 10 mins realising that anova aint gonna come for at least 30 mins. so anyway i decide to scrape all the way home... it was really hard as i was just pullin snow! every1's lookin at me in their cars like 'what r u doin?!'. i get about 100 yards and sum van is comin out a street and asks me where im goin as he could see me strugglin. he lets me get in and im like 'are u sure?' he was goin sumwhere opposite to me and told me he had no idea why he came that way as he NEVER does. i swear it was FATE! lovely old man he was! he took me right to ma door and waited till id opened the door as he didnt wanna see me hurt. i was SO SO THANKFUL! i gave him all the cash i had (£6.50 that i was gonna put towards my PAD). he didnt want money but i had to give him summat! i got home at 11 after setting off at 5! i hitch hiked when i thought id never do that! Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Luckily i lined the suitcase with my towel which protected my clothes. once id opened my suitcase the towel had 2 big'ol holes!!!!

But on a good note. today i have:
    51p for the jar.
    £34 GE mooonay
    £25 to NEXT

    TOTAL OF: £59.51

U dun know i wasnt goin NOWHERE today!!!!!!! after yesterdays events i was stayin INDOORS!!!! I think me and the snow was FATE for real.

    True story.
