I take your point Paulgonnabedebtfree. My dh is in the same position. I'm fortunate to work in a College and we always close as soon as the snow makes travelling difficult as some of our staff and students can travel 100 miles round trip to get here.
Anyway - no snow here although plenty on the mountains and there were about 4 flakes of snow as I left home - and it's not that cold either.
Finally managed to log into my bank and paid Sat/Sun and today's pad so £15 for me today. Weigh in tonight - I'll be delighted to have lost even a pound as I over indulged a bit this weekend:o

Hi all
Much snow here but kids still went to school, though when I'd dropped them off I went to pay dinner money at office only to be told that I could have kept them off for a snow day if I'd wanted. Surely a school is either closed or not? They'll be furious when they find out!! I'm still tempted to go to school at lunchtime and bring them home - we rarely get such lovely snow!
Did the dreaded weigh-in and found that I've actually lost 1LB which is unbelievable as I ate so much this weekend and drank too. Was intending to go to the gym today but the class was cancelled so had a lovely mug of coffee looking at the snow filled garden instead. We have snow and I'm going nowhere!!!
Hope you're all having a nice warm day inside with a duvet, laptop and a nice hot chocolate. If you have to go out then BE CAREFUL, the snowballs are out to get you. I'm with Paulgonnabedebtfree - this snow must GO!!! I used to love it but now I just find it scary (must be my age!!). DH has been told to stay home so I took that as a sign to let him walk the dogs!!
Anyway, i'm waffling - £25 to savings today. Not sure where i'll get money from in the next few days but i'm sure i'll find it somewhere. I don't know why I don't split the £25 that i'm paying today between each day this week but that feels like cheating...off to find more money!! xx0 -
Morning all :snow_laug Loads of snow here this morning!
Well not a great start to the week here thats for sure!!! DS2 skidded and crashed his car early this morning on the way to work - he's ok thank god but not too sure about his car! Had to take him to a friends garage whose going to have a look at it for him and get it towed to his garage! Just glad that he's ok tho but he's not a happy bunny. then on the way back from dropping his keys off I skidded and did almost a full turn on the road luckily no cars about  I crapped myself!!! :rotfl: At least the dogs are happy tho lol took them out for a walk and they must've eaten half their body weight in snow :rotfl: They're flat out asleep now exhausted.
Good luck Terri on getting to work in one piece lol
Well done mumzyof2 :T
