Hi folks the usual £2 for me again today.

Got an e-mail from Amazon today confirming £81 odds on its way to me thanks to sales in the past couple of weeks so happy about that. Will go most of the way to paying off the hotel room I just had to book for a wedding in August so thats a great help as I was dreading adding to my credit card debt when I am trying so hard to reduce it and get rid of cards.

Fag-ash-lil - have decided to put the £71 I have already bagged into coins into my xmas account so that its there if I see any bargins for xmas during the year (its what I normally do each year but with a £30 direct debit a month) and then bag the rest over the forthcoming months and keep adding it in everytime I get a bag or two. I have had an xmas account for years and I am very good at spending it only on xmas stuff even when money is tight - pity I can't manage to do the same with the rest of my accounts:confused:
  • Well done double trouble.

Poo Poo Poo Poo. Well something stronger has just escaped my lips. Just realised it's a 5 week month...kind of regretting that mega payment. Hey ho it's done now. Have to claw it back from the council tax and water rates month off.

Oh this does seem like a long month, despite doing exceptionally well (for me)...
get confused about when to start the month I get paid on the 19th:confused:
Never mind.. we are all doing so well:j
never expected to be reminded of my (failed) o level latin on this thread though. 'ammo, amas, amat..'

I don't count my minimum payments, but am pleased to see that these are coming down..that leaves more money to use for extra payments..IYKWIM:confused:
  • Paybacktime - you and me both! I also gained 2lbs which has me a bit mystified as yes I did have a piece of cake on Wednesday and two glasses of wine on Friday and Saturday night BUT I ate really well the rest of the time, didn't have any treats or 'a little bit won't matter' and also went to the gym 4 times (3 classes and one gym session) and it hurt like hell everytime and I looked like I'd been in the shower before I left the studio. So.....

...i expect it's all the muscle you've gained from exercising so much! :D

i haven't bothered weighing myself this week, but my result would probably be the same. sat here scoffing flake moments & have glugged half a bottle of rose without blinking! (well....nearly! and before you think how restrained i am not to drink the rest, OH has had it!)

been thinking about mortgage overpayments, but will think some more tomorrow when not suffering jolly effects of choc and wine.
    xx
Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A
