    Hi all
Very inspiring amounts going on. Paul - I know how you feel. My work payments are erratic so I can't always do a PAD as such and have just been putting my coppers in a box until I can make some more PADs. Every day there is usually at least 5 or 10p worth of pennies and when they are significant - or even if they aren't I take them to the penny counting machine in HSBC and straight into my a/c. But today I won £5 on one of the free scratchcards on bingo taking me to over £10 so when that hits my a/c I will be able to pay that off.

    :hello:Hey everyone!
Woah it's way too early yet, I'm half asleep still and feeling a wee bit more delicate than I did at breakfast..._pale_ Damn vino, beer and whatever else came my way...
Yet another brilliant total! We're on fire at the moment!! Thanks again for the updates and totals flying_fresian! :T
Fag_ash_lil: My little tootsies are utterly fuffed! :rotfl: I had to kick my shoes off before we even started dinner!! I kicked them off under the table to save myself for any dancing jigs later on but I just kept them off but it would appear I wasn't the only one :rotfl: Things us ladies have to do hey! Did you manage to find a lovely prom dress for your daughter? Monsoon had some fab stuff in for bargain prices a couple of weeks ago. Good luck with the log chopping today. We have the ol' rain and gales back on the agenda for later apparently... Get out there quick!
Hopeful1: I'm so scared by the hairy feet! :rotfl: They don't quite look like that but I'm certainly going to have a pamper later, probably after an afternoon nap. Brill idea to get things in focus and set some dates. Good luck with the targets though! :D I've got 'til the end of August to get rid as much debt as possible before Uni starts in September. If I can sell some more paintings then that would be a huge help.
Another £1 for the pot today. Less than 3 weeks 'til pay day yay! Sad isn't but I'm just itching to get shut of all this debt baggage!!
Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend? Can't believe how quickly they go...
    xx

  • Hi everyone,

I am new here, but been following this thread for a few days and been finding it very interesting - hope you don't mind if I also join in with a PAD.

Today I paid £7.40 to our Nationwide CC :j . We have a few different debts, and not sure if I should concentrate on using my PAD to just one debt, or if I should spread between our debts? Any advice appreciated!

Hi, everyone - yes, a wet and blustery morning here in North London too - however, DD has just gone out for driving lesson, so 2 hours of peace guaranteed - just reading through everyone's posts as usual - yes, it is addictive!! What struck me is actually how jolly we are even though we are all in a sticky situation. We are not locking ourselves away and living on a crust of bread a day, but we are still going out, seeing friends, having a nice time - we are just mindful of the cost, which is great! I have arranged to go out for a girls' drink on Tuesday [naughty, I know, on a school night...] but it's been a long time. Up North to see my Mum in hospital on Thursday, up and back in a day but no alternative as I can't really take the time off work. I was up last week and she is not really recovering as well as we would like....However, she is a fighter and a avery strong individual, so am not going to go all pessimistic on myself. At least I also get a chance to spend some time with my sister, which is a bonus.
Just added up PAD for this week! Total PAD £9.30!!! If I add the 3 weeks money I have saved by getting the bus to work, which is £37.50, I have a very cheering total of £46.80 to put towards my overdraft. I am going to take your advice and put it in a bank account, not Post Office - I still have an almost dead savings account with Lloys which has £1.81 in it - if I put my PAD into that then I can transfer via Internet banking, which will be easier. ]and, as someone said, no embarrassment factor on the Internet!]
Thanks for the cakes, Terri - just what I felt like!!
Good liuck with the ironing mountain, gilly 1964 - thankfully that is DD's job, so I am now going to loll on the sofa with the little dog for a while. Hopefully there will be some lovely rubbish on the TV I can lose myself in!!
Hope everyone's week gets off to a flying start, and we can keep those PADs coming!!
  • Pad for today is £2 into savings pot again... now, if my maths are right, that is now £17... (correct me if I'm wrong Mudbath... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
