    Afternoon everyone,

Just a quick post from me today.

Just paid the last £20 on British Gas arrears, so glad to have rid of that one!! It was only a small debt but they were swines to deal with. And that is an extra £10 a week i will have now!

Also paid £2.80 to HSBC CC.

    Total PAD £22.80

Hope everyone has a great day

Hi, everyone - have been lurking on this board for a while, but have been so inspired by your posts and your determination that I have decided to register. I would love to join this challenge and in fact have just paid £4.82 off Barclaycard. I have a pretty good idea of monthly outgoings as I had to calculate all this when I got divorced last year. So, I am pretty up to speed with regular money going out, but had not thought of trying to make a daily difference - I love it! We already have a system where I clear the pennies from my purse daily and my DD [17] takes these and puts them into her bank account monthly. How did that happen - how come she's getting the money??!! Never mind, though, she is 'putting it towards her car' [groan - another expense, she's just started driving lessons....]
I will do the horriffic adding up of everything in the next couple of days and try to work out how to do my signature. Just lurking on this board has strengthened my resolve, so I am even keener to get straightened out now I have registered.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm - I'm actually thinking this could be fun!!!

This thread is awesome, and I am not biased. It is really addictive. I have paid lots of debt in the last 10-12 days. Good luck
