'I new you would have a girl'
tears in my eyes now thinking about it.

Hi everyone - what a lot of updating!
Maytaurus - I well up with tears when I remember the births of my two boys and also the grandchildren. Each baby is a miracle, isn't it? I love your pictures, thanks!
NIkki - a warm welcome to you! If you look at the very first post on this thread, there's lots of info and links which you will find useful. Please ask if there's anything you are unsure of. It's good to have you on board.
K2tog - my new great-niece's name is Evie May Rose - lovely 'girly' name, I love it!
I've actually run out of time to do the update right now - I have to get DH up in a minute and I woke up later than usual myself, so I shall come back after breakfast. You've all been so busy that there's a lot to add to the totals and I don't want to rush it - I make enough mistakes with the update as it is!
I'll see you all later.

This might be a daft question, but I'm sure I can't be the only one to ask. What happens to the little hats made for the bottles? Do they go on to a baby unit or something?
Maggie0 -
Morning all
the hats are sold on the bottles of innocent smoothies and IS give 50p to charity for each one knitted. its up to the person who buys tye bottle what they then do with the hats could be egg cosies, hats for toys. personally the kids stuck one on a buddah ornament i have in the hall, i save any mine buy and send them back the next year so they get recycled that way.
wonderful news Kathy, congratulations.
can you update me with 1 Boob and 2 choir fundraising toys please.
I also did a few rows on Ds's blanket square so its grown a little bigger (at last)

off to post some squares this morning (hopefully) as they are sitting in a big box by the front door and someone might trip over them soon!

Not sure if this is cheating but so far this yr I have made 39 inncocent smoothie hats. I make these as i'm a single mum and on a full time college course and can whip these up in about 20 mins so it easy to sit down with a coffee and have a bit of me time lol. It's going to be great fun having others to knit with
