Hope everyone is having a good day. Been quiet for me today, but leading up to my great-nephew's 4th birthday tomorrow and his party on Saturday. Put it this way... he spent yesterday running around singing happy birthday to himself at the top of his voice, so can I just say 'overexcited' . Of course his 19 month old brother had to mimic him, so my ears are just returning to normal today. They live in London though, so it's still nice to have them near for a whole week.

I spent a lot of time through the night sewing up and running the ends in on my squares . Still, managed to get quite a bit of knitting done today, so could you please update my numbers next time with 5 hats and 2 squares. Thank you.

Maytaurus, thankyou for your kind thoughts - more tests tomorrow for DH. Will finish work early to pick him up from the hospital as he will be dopey and may attack the ironing while he is in bed recovering. Still haven't reworked his jumper sleeves... G
Have just finished 1 baby hat (please Kathy!) from here /www.p2designs.com/pdfs/ptn-HatBabySlSt.pdf and wondered if anyone else had tried and had problems? I think the pattern may have errors as well as my row count possibly going pear shaped. When it became apparent that it wasn't going to look like the picture, I improvised! Off to put the kids to bed x

Hi everyone
Well DSIL has reurned home with her suitcase devoid of baby clothes but I think some Olive oil and a bottle of brandy replaced the weight !!!
We had a lovely ime together and she was very amused by the knitted boobs.

Hope everyone else on this lovely thread is well and happy.
