Hi everyone. For some reason, I can get on here but not onto Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox - I've been trying for ages!
Anyway, still not got much done. My ironing intentions went out of the window because some friends turned up this morning, so I'll save it till tomorrow.
Hope all is well - I'll pop back later when I've sorted out my PC - hopefully!

Hi everyone. I had to turn my whole PC and Livebox off and back on again to get it all going again properly but it seems to be OK now - touch wood!
Pol - hope everything's OK with you.
Rachel - congratulations on learning to knit. It will be the start of a lifetime of pleasure (and some angry bits, too; we all get them, when things just won't go right!)
Jean - don't feel you hand in 'titchy bits'. Every thing counts! You sound so rushed, I hope you are finding time to rest!
Thank you all for your lovely updates. I will try and add them tomorrow - I don't know where the time has gone today. I've been 'supervising' the plastering in the bedroom - did I want a smooth finish or an olde worlde one? I had two examples to look at and chose the olde worlde one. This house does not 'do' smooth, sleek and sophisticated! I have a lovely old book called English Cottage Interiors and I've long been yearning for the chance to aim for some of the styles in there, so it seems it may be happening here. We used to have a lovely little cottage years ago, and I saved so many things from it that didn't seem right in any of the other houses we lived in, so, perhaps in five years time, I'll be able to find the right places for them!
Anyway, no knitting or crochet news today, except to say that I have re-sorted my wool stash because I found another box full of the stuff that I forgot I had! I hope things will calm down a bit later this week when DH goes back to work, and I can concentrate more on what really matters - getting through my stash!
Hope you are all having a good Monday.

Mioliere-posts crossed, I have the 3 foot wide granite walls with the rough plaster on the inside- I did the plastering - my DH said it would just be like icing a cake - he wasn't wrong! I get all the best jobs here!

Hi Jean - our walls are thick granite, too. I suppose that means our houses will never fall down! I have noticed that these houses never seem to have cracks in them, do they? The rough plaster (that I would be absolutely hopeless at, so you are to be admired!) looks great - he's just done a bit more and I've told him I want it in the rest of the house, too - it just seems right with the type and age of the house.
The price of postage here is jaw-dropping, isn't it? I sent my Mum's birthday presents - things I had made so the parcel was very light (204gms on the La Poste scales), and it cost €5.60! I reckon it would have been at least half that in the UK. Oh, well, the wine's cheap - can't have everything!
Chalky - I'm sure we'll hear from you again before you leave for Spain but, if not, have a good and safe trip.
ISOM - hope you are feeling better soon.
Well, off to hoover up after the plastering.

Evening all
have just completed my seventh of 25 squares and just noticed I have a rogue square - it's too big! Not sure how it happened but much better than it being too small. Sounds like everyone is really busy at the moment. Jean, I haven't made the lemon curd yet because when I went to put some jars I had put aside through the dishwasher I found some noodle had recycled them. However he is currently doing a sterling job with the tiling so is forgiven for the time being. I made slow cooker rice pudding today though (because it's very easy and said noodle loves it) and hope to give the lemon curd a whirl soon.
Well done Rachel with your lesson - you obviously picked it up quickly.
Pol, I think Shelley is in need of the Xmas stockings but not sure re hedgies, and psso is wanting things to sell at a fayre too - I'm sending her some hedgies, stockings and some juggling balls. Or there is always boobs..... Hope you feel better soon Pol.
Loads to do tomorrow, partly because I didn't get as much done as I wanted today (lazyitis set in) so hoping I will tick off loads of things on my list.
Hope everyone is OK.
Love the new pics on your blog Chalky0
