can’t find the cable to link to the ‘puter, its obviously somewhere safe:rotfl:.

When you find it, let me know if my blimmin cheque book is there too :rotfl:
Glad you're OK and that the WIPs are growing!
Kathy, your house sounds amazing and here are some words I got fed up with at the last house "it'll be fantastic when it's finished" :rotfl:
Anyway, shouldn't even be on here - must go and do stuff :o

K2tog - it might be amazing when it's finished but it certainly isn't yet! Words I got fed up with were 'look beyond the mess. It's all in the preparation'!

I shouldn't really be on here, either, but I've done quite a lot of ironing, despite two phone calls and having to rescue a little bird from the cat. That's one bird and one snake we've saved so far. That's the one thing I don't like about cats, and it annoys me because they get fed so shouldn't go hunting just for sport. It always reminds me of a saying I heard some time ago 'If cats looked like frogs, we'd realise what evil b******s they really were'!

Anyway, after a cold foggy start, the sun is beaming away now so I've just put the washing out - more ironing!

Pam - I'm so glad you are OK. We've all missed you. Glad you are knitting something you enjoy. I get like that, which is why I have unfinished WIPs lying around.

Oh well, back to the ironing.

:hello:Helloooo :hello:I'm back, did you miss me :D

We had a lovely time at the caravan, I just love it down on the south coast, and the weather was kind to us, bit dull a few times but mainly sunshine.

Have'nt been in here since we got back, been sooo busy, unpacking, washing, stowing stuff away and just generally busying about.

Had a nice surprise this morning, I went over to see Mum and while we were away she had been having a sort out and she found a Jean Greenhowe pattern book full of toys. I spent ages going through it.

I can remember Mum knitting most of them many years ago, she bought the book in the 80's, it's just called "Knitted Toys" it's got a scarecrow on the front, there are over 50 inside.
Trouble is, as usual, I cant make up my mind what to do first  :rotfl:

They are ideal for Elaine and Shelley to sell on their stalls to boost the postal funds. cant wait to get started now, if anyone want's a pattern or 2, I will be only too happy to post them :D

There are patterns in there for Christmas tree decorations, snowman, father christmas, angel, penguin, and balls.

I have quite a little pile of stuff ready to be posted to L/H, Shelley and Elaine but need to take pic's of them first for my Wooligans album.

Hope you are all ok, will catch up later
Better go OH wants a :coffee:

Hi Pippa and welcome back. Glad you had a good time! I've got that book, too; it's lovely, isn't it?

Well, I've just packed the last of the ironing away so I'm feeling very smug at the moment. Off for a well-earned cuppa.

Doh! Pippa has just reminded me that I meant to take some pics before I posted stuff off.
Elaine posted some things to you today.
Shelley also posted some items (not a vast amount but things on your wish list) to you but realised I had forgotten to put the keys in so will send in the next parcel.
Have filled a large box with stuff for LH with embarrassingly little knitting in. Did a little shop in Poundland for some men's stuff for the shoeboxes so now will need to organise when I am around for parcels2go or similar to come and collect. I love the idea of the shoeboxes especially as they go to all age groups. Have done most of the things on my list today but kitchen is still a sight so must go and do battle.
Yes we did Pippa! Glad you had a lovely time.

K2tog - just make it and stuff it into any old pot, jug or bowl.........I do.
Prfungi - lovely to see you again as well as Pippa.S Yes we did miss you, how can you think we didn't?
Kathy- do you have a suitable mask? Or are you looking like a bandit with a scarf round you face?
Dh got back last night - for a week at home with rest - but he has a cold - this morning he didn't get out the bed - ITS NOW FULL BLOWN MAN FLU - well that or that pig flu, he is in a terrible state and there I was thinking we were going gad about this week, CANCELLED - didn't do any sewing today, didn't do any knitting today, been running up and down the stairs and trying very hard not to have two dogs barking at any bird that lands in the courtyard. He has been sleeping most of the day and I wake him for medication. Just given him a bowl of porridge and a scrambled egg - he has had nowt since yesterday. Off to make him a quick honey and lemon - OK so I will shove some whisky into it, that should see him right then. Back soon I hope.

Hi Jean - hope DH gets better soon. There's some horrid bugs doing the rounds at the moment. A friend of mine here has had something flu-like, so, like a true friend, I'm avoiding her at the moment - just talking by phone!
