    Morning all
Maytaurus I am a nightowl by nature but try to fight it because staying up til all hours doesn't really fit in with the rest of my life. And then there is the "just one more row..." phenomenon which is normally followed by "OMG, look at the time!".
Hi Fabio, hope you like it here. I started off doing these
    http://preemiesuk.googlepages.com/teacosy.html
which I know Shelley particularly needs at the mo as well as these
    http://www.geocities.com/earlyangels...oobappeal.html
which are an interesting knit - do them any colours you fancy and cast on quite loose because of the increases.

Have just spent a lovely half hour looking at the wooligans pics because I haven't been on there in ages. It's great to see all the different projects on there - such beautiful things.
Roamin', your activity book is fantastic - such a lot of work that tinies will love.
Must update with some pics also as I haven't taken any for ages.
Off to do chores - have a good day everyone.

Hi all. Just having a quick breather with a coffee, counting down to when our visitors arrive.

Seakay - have added your latest items to the update I posted yesterday. Thanks for reading my blog - I've not been able to add all the things I wanted to through lack of time, but I really want to keep it up, so watch this space. I love reading blogs, too, because they always seem so friendly.

K2tog - the photos are fabulous, aren't they? Dont' forget, everyone, that we love to see the other things that you make that are personal projects, not just for charity. I don't know about all the others, but I'm nosey!

Well, off to do the ironing now!

Hope you are all having a great Sunday.

I've been an MSE member for quite some time but only read your thread this weekend. It has really inspired me to get knitting. I have just finished a cardi but don't know what size buttons I should sew onto it. Can anyone help me please? Is 6mm too small?

    Thank you.

Do I just write a reply in red when I've finished it?

    Ta x

Always Poor - welcome to the thread!

The easiest way to decide on button size (if your pattern doesn't tell you) is to see what will fit through the button hole. It shouldn't be too much of a struggle, equally you don't want the button to fall out of the buttonhole.
