ISOM- the programme was on BBC2. I hope you can find it on catch-up - it's well worth watching if only for the eyewatering amounts the family were spending on junk food! Makes all us MSE'ers look like angels!
Well, I decided to go out this afternoon to look for some buttons for the cardi I've made - I came back with four each of three different types and don't know which ones to use! One set is white teddies, one is different coloured stars (which look great with the multi-coloured wool I made the cardi in) and the other set has little kittens on them. Decisions, decisions, but I think I will go with the stars! I had to resist the urge to wander all through the shop - I was very good and just looked at buttons! The shop is called La Tissueterie and it's luuuuurvely!

Hi ladies - well we are all busy - clearing out etc - well if I could remember how to post pic I'd show you the ironing completed yesterday (2x Ikea Bags and basket + 5 loads of washing phew) bones hurting today so gave myself the afternoon off and knitted one of the xmas hats from links last week
That food programme sounds great I must watch it - I have to say I thought my food/household budget of 350 per month was too much - and am working on cutting that back (it incs food, toiletries, cleaning products, essentials etc) - what night is it on ???
I have to say Im wanting to sort the wool stash out again - its in 3 places (tut tut) - must sort card making stash out as well (did car boot with Mum and the left overs of her card making bits she has given to me to either put on Ebay or for me (would feel that I had to pay her though so may not be getting that much ...... not being good just want more money for wool ha ha)
Anyway great to hear all your news ladies - catch up again soon - hugs and best wishes Jaqui xx
PS i picked up the 'knitting magazine 7.99' and had to be really forceful and put back - I did get a cardmaking one just like it but a lot of the bits got free I didnt use - its an awful lot of money but a great treat if you want to spoil yourself xxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
Kathy - yes it does sound organised does'nt it, how long it will stay that way who knows, it depends if it decides to swap drawers when I'm not looking
no spiders under the stairs though I hate the things  ....I use all sorts of OOD stuff, tinned, boxed and packet's, but very careful with dairy products, although I have eaten yoghurts up to a week OOD.
Elaine - hope things went ok for your DD today. Great service from Kemps shame about the thickness though, what are you planning to knit with it?
:wave:Lou - nice to see you, I'm sorry to hear about the flashbacks, I know how upsetting they can be. I thought I would just let you know they do settle down, but not pleasant at the time.
I had them after a really bad car accident a while ago.
Off to do some knitting now, got a couple of friendship squares on the go, and another tank top like the one I sent to L/H, its for DGS this time though.
enjoy the rest of your evening everyone

Joined Ravelry last night so I forsee another evening disappearing into the ether while I surf
Lovely stuff on the site but don't know how all the bells and whistles bits work, stash, projects etc. Might see y'all later. On the other hand, might end up staying up far too late looking at Ravelry and not noticing the time0 -

:mad: DD`s appt was at 3.10 so got there at 3.09 to be told clinic running 30 mins late. EVENTUALLY called at 4.10 then had to wait ANOTHER 15 mins till the consultant decided to appear. It wasn`t the guy who did the op - he`s gone back to Germany-so when we told him her wrist was more painful now than before the op he says there`s probably not much he can do about it !!!!! He`s sending her for another MRI scan and referring her for more physio so she`s VERY impressed - NOT !! This took less than 5 minutes to tell us so
The wool was ordered to do DGD`s pillows for her soon to be decorated bedroom, so as I said before, think I`ll just double it up and see how it turns out. It`s not as though its for a special top or anything - Grandma will just have to work a bit of magic on it to make it just right.;)
Off to see what`s happening on LH, then relax with the needles or maybe hook ? See how the mood takes me.

Elaine, so sorry you had all that hanging around for just five minutes worth of info. I hope the scan throws something up that can be corrected.
Jacqui - the programme was on BBC2 last night, so I guess all the others will be on Wednesdays, too.

Well we have not stopped all day. We have 3 weddings in the next 2 weeks so we are not ready but we are off in the Sunshine Bus . Luckily DD2 is at home and will pick up all your lovely parcels. The Memory Blanket is so nearly complete. 1 square to go and it looks wonderful
The friendship blanket is also looking wonderful but takes a little longer because the squares are obviously smaller. This theme will keep going on my return and then I will get them in the post to Elaine
Of course I have a basket of wool to take with me -- colourways of pinks and purples. Trying to crochet a lap blanket for DMIL for her birthday in September. I am following the instructions on attic 24 to join the squares by crochet, Interesting but quite time consuming,
Ok Well because we are camping we shall probably be out of contact for a while but can I say once again thank you to you all for your wonderful efforts.Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Have a great time Linda and enjoy your weddings - hope the sun shines for all of them. ( Don`t over indulge in the vino collapso - or eat plenty of food to soak it up );)
