Ooo! Ooo! calling all crocheters - look at this site - not a blog but loads of lovely patterns, including the most beautiful "aran" afghan and some great squares.

The patterns are all pdf & you have to open them to view but well worth it.

I got my car back today - all mended and nice again, and they had given it a full valet - including washing my car mats - how's that for service, my wheels now look like alloys again :rotfl:.
Been to see Mum & she was in good form, tired but cheerful. I took her a bright red and a lemon wool and cast both lots on for her, then stuffed her latest rats nest into my bag to bring home. New knitting and a bag of jelly babies and she's happy as a sandboy!

I had some 'proper' bacon for my breakfast today "old english cured" cut nice and thick, it was absolutely beautiful - no gunk in the frying pan just a nice bit of fat to dip my bread in! From Morrisons, not prepacked, I recommend you try it if you can!

There, now I have your mouths watering, I think its time to go :rotfl:

    'bye for now
    luv

Wow, Pam - what a lovely site! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Great news about your car, and how lovely to have it valeted, too! Bless your Mum, she obviously enjoys knitting but I had to laugh at your description of the 'rat's nest'!

Kinsey - I thought the weather was getting better in the UK? I can't believe it is still raining. I shall keep quiet about the weather here from now on. Sorry!

DPixie - I got straight into the patterns. Have you got Adobe Reader, because it's needed to open the PDFs?
