Well done Tracey - I also like the stretchy hat from preemiesuk site (see first page on this thread for address I am hopeless at doing links!!!) the smallest size I find is good for using up your odds and ends

Shelley - so very sorry you have been struck down - rest loads, look after yourself take care xx

Do you know this is where the info about the swine flu is confusing - at sons school they said they had a few cases one child who was in school last Friday was diagnosed over weekend given medication and back in school on Thursday ???? like shelley said you are supposed to stay in for seven days (which is what I was led to believe)- perhaps its different if you have the tablets - this is not doing my anxiety any good this week Aaaaaggghhh!!!!!!!!!!

Off to undertake nice relaxing knitting xxxxx(with my usual cuppa and biccie!!!) - hope you all have good evening and that you are not suffering too much with the storms xxxx

In Search of Me - I'm glad your Mum got there in the end, bless her! Well done for recruiting her to the cause.

Shelley - I'd be put off by the threat of nightmares, too.

Well, I'm just about to have a shower, then we shall watch the very last DVD we have - Zulu Dawn! We get our satellite dish tomorrow!

    Have a great evening.

Hi Jellybeans - good to hear from you. I hope you are keeping well? Just to let you know, I usually try and update once a week (on a Monday, generally), and I ask people to highlight their totals in red, which makes it easier for me to add them! A lot has happened on the thread so it will probably take ages to catch up with! It's great to have you back with us!

at last something for me to update!! Hello jellybeans!
Mum knitting like a madwoman and shown me how to do it - I was trying to add to the side of the row rather than end so thats where I went wrong! Will have a bash...only problem is she now has my needles having snapped her very posh £18 ones on the way here!!

feels like there is steam coming out to me!! She knits SO fast compared to slow, concentrating me!! She had the rosewood needles and has snapped one and is, understandably, gutted...will have to get her a hard travel knitting case for her bday...any suggestions? Off to do more shawl!
