HI all - just got back from helping set up for tomorrow's car boot sale - it's going to be a huge event, by the look of things.

Elaine - I'm so glad your DH has had the op and is recovering. Good luck to him.

Thanks for the updates so far. I'll do the big update on Monday morning.

Must go before I burn the dinner!

Elaine so pleased to hear it went well. Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
Pleased also for your good news Lucie.
Won't update again this week as output poor - currently have a SANDS blanket still on needles, a sock and that blimmin blur top - however they are all progressing to varying degrees.

Haven't heard from Jaqui for a while - is F1 on? 'Scuse my complete lack of knowledge...:o

    Hope everyone is OK.

Hi everyone - just popping on before we go off to the car boot sale. I have a job there - I've been asked to take orders for the fish and chip van! I'll have a little table, a chair, a parasol and a notebook, take the orders and hand them into the chip van. That will earn DH and I our dinner, so a fair swop. I'm looking forward to it. Everyone with a stall there will have been there since 6am, and the beer tent is open from 8am (the French love British beer!) There's archery, pony rides and all sorts of other things - all on the village green outside our friends' house. We're not having a stall because we had a good sort out before we moved, and have nothing for sale.

Anyway, needless to say - no chance for knitting and crochet while I'm there, but I'll do some on the way, because DH is driving. We're staying the night there, so I won't be back on here until tomorrow.

Thanks for all your updates so far.

Elaine - I hope your DH is recovering well. I bet you're both glad the worst bit is over.

Have a great Sunday - see you all tomorrow.

Elaine-- Everything crossed for a continued good recovery.

Well a quick visit today as Ds and rest of family are still snoozing and I want to get on. Must get the popcorn ready for Wimbledon.

Been really busy with Godsons favour bags and Place Settings -- will put some piccies on when I have finished but they are coming along !!

Also been busy Card Making As DS and DIL use a lot at the end of term. I love card making and use a lot of the photos I have been taking since we retired.

They arrived yesterday with a CD of all the wedding photos but also the most gorgeous printed photo album like a real book. Well a few tears were shed and it really is womderful. I think they used Kodak PhotoShre on the Internet and the results are amazing. Many a Happy hour will be spent pouring over it methinks!!

Well Congratulations to all those celebrating and gentle thoughts to all those feeling a bit down, sad, alone or poorly.

Will update next week when I have got a bit of time to do the sums !!
    Have a good day everyone

and the survival rate for that is approx 1 in a 100
they kept him packed in ice, in an induced coma for over a week
He is so fit now & still walks for at least an hour a day at 80!

Hello ladies - sorry i have been 'AWOL' - have had a bad few weeks and didnt feel up to being sociable - anyway feeling bit brighter now (could have done with a week or so at the 'french retreat' for some rehab :rotfl:

Have been catching up with all your news - sending warm wishes and hugs to all those suffering or who have relatives unwell - hugs and best wishes to everyone really - i realised the last few days how much i had missed you all ........ xxxx

Couple of my questions coming up

chalky - in the last day i have had some mystery furry things hatching from my needles - inspired by your pic (oh arent they addictive!) - yours are truly wonderful BUT where do i find the pattern for the little square chaps they are great ????

Shezmit - hoping your aches and pains have gone - have done an Angel Pocket now I cant crochet so have not been able to put a 'border' around - Would you like lace edging? - only problem is my seams seem a little bulky - dont know whether its the wool or how they come out - what do you think? oh by the way thanks for your summer challenges - great idea!

Had a pattern given to me by my Son's school - they are for little plain people bit fiddly but relatively easy - they are for story bags rattled one of those off today - will show to teacher tommorrow if ok will do them some more (hoping i get a couple of 'star points' or at least a 'B' for effort :rotfl::rotfl:)

Well this is a quick visit and have not totalled my updates so will do them next week - there is a cadburys boost and cuppa calling my name .....

Once again missed you all and its great to be back - love and best wishes - F1widow (Jaqui) xxxxxx
