Hi all - Pippa, sorry about your clowns. I'll put it right when I next log in. I had to turn the Livebox off for a couple of hours, because we had another spectacular thunderstorm, but it has really cleared the air, so I didn't mind.
Tight As - hope it's not too long before they both find new jobs. What a worry for them, and rotten timing.

Ooooooooooooooohh my own section on the updates, not sure I can cope with the pressure of it!
Will have a go at the vent hats, its a good idea so the little ones can get their much needed rest but still be treated. Thanks for the pattern.
Think I will make a few more of the other little hats before I attempt the new ones. I am also knitting a bag for my best friend for Christmas so want to finish that first or knitting will begin to be like my cross stitching = 6 started!
Hedgehogs are adorable! I love how they look all together, like a little colony!!

sorry been pathetic at updating! My actual list now is that I've collated enough squares for at least a blanket - if not two- on the charity front. On the home front have now made 3 hats
and finally...have been baaaad and got this book;

and I am knitting the green glam shawl but in a deep purple with silvery/iridescet beads for my cousins bday! Taking a while and am unused to loose knitting so taking getting used to but chuffed with it! Yes it was a mere while ago that I could just do a sqaure and sometimes foget how far I've come! The wool is gorgeous...very fine and lovely, soft ad fluffy - best of all cousin will love it!
Sorry not been good at keeping up...been a real struggle at work and little time left when at home and no energy...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

evening all, feeling bored, so having a drink, been knitting a jumper for myself, and i think i've made it too long, it covers my bum, least it'll keep me warm in winter, got the hood and a sleeve to do before i sew it up, then i'll see for sure.
got a couple buntings too, to add to my collection of them, was going to send them off, but thaem and the sqares, were over the 500g mark, so am going for the next price band for posting, which i think is 750g.
lucie, hope they both find new jobs soon. thankyou for the topsy turvey doll pattern she is lovely and will make somebody happy at xmas.
hugs to all

Hope evryone sleeps well with sweet dreams .
I might as well say Good Morning to Kathy now as I am sure our Earlybird will be here before long.

Good morning, everyone. Chalky - I had to get up early this morning because DH needs to leave the house at about 7am (French time). I have to make sandwiches for him, too; opening a jar of Branston's Pickle at this time of day is not something I look forward to!
Pippa - your 2 clowns have been added to the update. I don't know why they weren't there!
In Search of Me - don't feel too baaaaaad about buying your book; we all need a treat now and again! It looks gorgeous; so does the wool. Would love to see a photo of the shawl when you have finished it.
Well, I'd better go and get Sir's sandwiches done.

Chalky - I couldn't get that link to work and, when I googled Project Linus, I couldn't find the 'blanket without sewing' pattern, for some reason. I've just found this pattern for a crochet one, though, http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns/kiddo-logcabinbaby-crochet.htmlKNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
