Thanks Kathy and Pam ---I find them really relaxing and also interesting. There is also the added advantage that you don't have the sewing up to do as well. As usual I am
sure the addictive gene will kick in so I can envisage a single blanket being produced:rotfl:

Shelley -- As well as posting your Summer totals could you give us an idea how the TOTAL of the 5'ps is going

    Thanks

hi all. kathy, thanks for the verbal support with the french. unfortunately, i didn't do french at school, so it is all a bit new for me, however, i am loving it. i do want to be able to communicate better with all of our lovely neighbours.

not much of an update on the totals, i have been swotting for french class (which takes up most of the day - i leave the house at 8 in the morning and get back at about 2 in the afternoon). oh well, time for the homework and then the weeks grocery shopping and then i will settle down with the blankie for our neighbour.

have a wonderful day all, i am thinking of you!!!

bit too warm for me, and not got much knitting done lately, instead i've been doing a little cross stitch, that i'm going to make into a card for my mum's birthday.
enjoyed the sun last week, when me an bf went to balckpool, was lovely not having the kids for a couple days.

    Afternoon everyone :hello:
I have just been in to the Wooligan site and posted a pic of my ripple blanket and the Thomas the Tank Engine jumper I have just finished for my DGS, also a few other bits for Shelley and L/H

Purple Teddy Bear - I used the pattern with the 3 engines on but adapted it and used the centre part of Thomas, and the bones of a pattern for the actual jumper I used an old favourite done on bigger pins.
10's and 8's instead of 11's and 9's, I have used it lots of times and it works well. Thanks again for the patterns you sent me :A

Chalky - you sure have been busy, love your large family of colourful hedgies. The squares look interesting is there a pattern somewhere for them??

Shelley - I have done 4 vent hats and 3 buntings up to now, I will try and get them sent off to you before we go away on Friday. I did a picot type edging round the hoods of the bunting hope thats ok. I have a few 5p's for you too so they will go in the parcel too.

Kathy - I have just noticed the 2 clown puppets I did for the L/H trauma toys appeal dont seem to be in the grand totals :o

Annies attic freebie today is lovely the colours are so fresh, must try that when Ive finished my 2nd Ripple blanket, it seems to be taking ages to do this one.

Better go I am bletherin on (sorry) and I need a drink:rolleyes:

Ooh love the Annie's attic pattern!
Chalky what fab hedgies! Yours are a proper fat shape like they're supposed to be - mine all looked like they had been on the Atkins diet :o. Did you alter the pattern or are you just a better stuffer than me? :rotfl:
Glad to hear the cows are out of the sun - it's horrible and muggy here. We definitely need a storm, but not until my washing has dried :D
