Now that leads me on to another question/thought - at the weekend i saw two ladies at the car boot - both were card makers and knitters and had also dabbled in cross stitch - all three i have done or am doing - is this the same for you ladies ? do any of you ladies also share these hobbies - i just thought it was a 'spooky' coincidence - i am very obsessional about my card making and now since starting to knit have become obsessed with this too ....... just something i have been thinking about today .....

I had a go at crotcheting at the weekend and actually surprised myself as I managed to cast on, do a few rows and then cast off. It looks ok, not bad for a first attempt at least, but can someone tell me if it supposed to have ridges every 3 or 4 rows?

Any advice

my left hand hurts and aches mainly my thumb when i am knitting and i can only do a couple of rows and then it starts,

i do rest it as much as i can but all i want to do is to knit

Hope everyone especially the "locals" are OK. Of course we all miss Maytaurus so hope she is OK and at least has the energy to peep on here.

Well we had alovely weekend. Good friends and happy times rounded off by watching the GB ladies team beat Sri Lanka in the 20 20 Cricket series Really Good !!

My Godson has asked me to make the favour bags and Place Cards for his wedding in August-- so its off we go again and I thought that job was done and dusted but he is a lovely chap so am pleased to do it !!

Picked up some more wool from a freecycler on Friday --- not eyelash for hedgies !!! I also emailed about the poetry letters so will look forward to the pack coming.

Has anyone read the latest bit of Lou's blog on Loving Hands. She is truly inspirational and I feel really humble when I read her story.

Well I am still in mid stream with bits and pieces so will update at the weekend.
