Knit Your Square To Give Your Share 2009!

Well, just got back from the hospital visiting. DH is still in CC unit. They hooked him up on Friday to a drip with GTN and one with blood thinning Heparin. They tried taking him off it but he had a `funny turn`so went back on. Tried again today and the same happened again - a bit worrying as he was only lying dozing on the bed. Hopefully the surgeon will be round to see him tomorrow, just have to wait and see what he says.

Good news is I`m cracking on with the sands blanket I started when he went in, just going to start on the decreasing now with a glass of something white and cold at hand, and it won`t be milk !!!:rotfl:

Don`t usually drink, but think I might need something other than Horlicks to help me sleep tonight, so it`s just as well there`s a couple of bottles of wine left in the cupboard - been giving some of them away for raffle prizes.

mornign all - elaine my thoughts are with you and your DH, i am sure that all will be well.

my totals for last week were not great - i was rather enjoying the crocheting so spent ages getting the ripple pattern right (which i now have done and have ordered some wool from Kemps which i am going to use for a ripple blanket for a friend who is expecting a baby in november - that will give me plenty of time to get it right, hopefully).

Kathy - Not really much knitting done this week as I was working on my ripple blanket, the first one 1 finished last week and it fits a single bed, no wonder it took so long :rolleyes: The 2nd is not quite so wide but I have done about 2ft of it. I have'nt put it on my sig as its for me.

Shelley - I will send the hats off but it wont be until next week, as we are away again on Wednesday.

Off for a shower now, we are shopping later for the Mums so I want to get out fairly early. Not feeling quite myself today a bit not quite with it if you see what I mean

Well, I have added just one bunting and one hat to my totals, but hope to do a lot more now that I've finished the ripple blanket. Pippa - well done on doing one big enough for a single bed!
