Hi everyone.
Shez - you're brave having a tattoo!
PSSO - thanks for that lovely bunting pattern.
Jackie0 - as you see, our DON's come up with some lovely patterns. As someone else who suffers with cold feet, I know how horrid it is! Hope you are keeping well.
At the risk of starting Chalky off with some more snouts, I've just found this really lovely crochet pattern for a hedgehog!

wow, you all sound so lovely, i felt i had to say hello, started knitting when first son was due 28 years ago, still have the one sleeve and back that i started....didnt knit again until my granddaughter was born...now after 4 years I knit every chance I get, and actually finish things now....she goes off to nursery and tells everyone that her grandma made her jumpers....it will be so nice to be able to ask like minded people how to understand some patterns etc...only other person i know who knits is my mother, and even though i in my 40's when i ask her for help she takes it off me and finishes my knitting...so i try not to ask now....Please could one of you explain to me what the abbreviations mean though...DS1 etc...I am sure i will feel foolish when you do, but have wondered for weeks what they mean?
thanks.... sylv0 -

Elaine,
Thank you for the welcome and the abreviations, I have DH, DS1, DS2, DS3, DD1, DD2, DIL1, DIl2, DGD & DGS. I am fighting with 15 yr old DD2, as she wants her tongue pierced for her 16 BD....and 18 yr old DS3 spends his wages on tatoo's, so just from the last few posts i feel like I will fit in here, lol thanks again, sylv0
