Oh My Goodness--- This is an all time FIRST !!!!
I am never first posting --- Kathy where are you ?
Well Ok I think I am still on a high!!
I have decided to stop knitting hedgehogs-
a) Because I now have an orphanage of them . I hope they are needed for Operation Christmas Child or they reintroduce the trauma toys on Loving Hands
b) I need a change. So now it is decision time - and I cant decide. Maybe a bigger project?
I do hope there are not too many people feeling poorly, down, sad or lonely. I send you all a big hug from here if you do.
TightAs--- Stay Calm - I am thinking about you !! Our lot did up their own cars DS has his last bit of single life left a blue AudiTT and DDIL'S dad actually drove her in that all done up with ribbons and it looked great. The bridesmaids were in a friends "posh" car. Hope you get yours sorted.
Purple Teddy--Hope christening plans are going well.
French Barn Owners -- Thanks for sending the sunshine over here last Saturday. How is the clearing going ? I have such lovely pictures of you all in my mind.!
Well I have been glued to the internet looking at photos and paraphenalia for 2 days so now I am going to turn it off. Put down the knitting which is ALWAYS on my lap and get on. I have to reume normal services ---Oh well it was lovely while it lasted !!
Have good days everybody .

G'morning all. Its grey and drizzly here too!
Tight As - hope you've managed to sort out the car problem, and that everything else is on track. Positive vibes for a fine weekend for you.
Chalky 75 - Thanks for sharing your lovely photos - cheered me up seeing such happy pics. You have a lovely family.
Mum is out of hospital again (thankfully) still no clue as to what the problem was - she can be very difficult to communicate with - tends to say what she thinks you want to hear - and hospitals disorientate her. She now seems very depressed again (understandably perhaps) I have a meeting with her GP tomorrow.
Crocheters all - check out todays pattern from Annies Attic - a lovely shrug for little girls - ideal for parties, weddings etc!

Hugs and good wishes to all,

Morning all,
Chalky - photos are beautiful, so glad it all went well and the weather was kind to you. Looks like you all had a wonderful time.
Tight As - Been keeping an eye on the weather reports and it's meant to be lovely this weekend, I am sure everything will fall into place just like it did for chalky.
Pippa - You have brought back lots of memories for me with all the talk of Paignton, haven't been there in years. We used to spend two weeks of our summer hols as kids with my nan and grandad who lived in Devon, we visited most places thanks to my grandad's passion for the area. Hope you have a lovely time.
Sending big hugs to everyone, gonna have a cuppa now and get me knitting out.:D:jWooligans Totals 2010:

HI all. Tight As - all fingers crossed for the weather at the weekend! The good vibes worked for Chalky. For our son's wedding last year, we did all the cars up ourselves. The bride was driven to the church in her Dad's lovingly restored Triumph (Dolomite, I think - he'd kill me if he knew I'd forgotten the model name!), and the rest of the party went in BMWs' all done up with hot pink ribbons! They looked fantastic. Hope you get your cars sorted in time.
A warm welcome to Pip's Mum. I hope you enjoy it here. I try and do a weekly update on here (usually on Mondays), so please feel free to add yours. It helps if everyone updates in red - it makes it easier for me to find!
Chalky - the photos are wonderful. As for the hedgehogs, I.m sure Loving Hands will find a home for them. I still can't get back on to LH for some reason, despite both Lou and Pam West trying their best to help. French Barn Owners sounds so romantic - until you see mine!
Prfungi - thanks for the link to Annie's Attic. I shall print it off because it'll be a lovely present for my DGD - as if I didn't already have hundreds of patterns! (((Hugs))) to your Mum. Mine is moving house today so I'm hoping it's all going smoothly for her. I just wish I was helping her.
Anyway, I should be working, so I'd better go and do something.
See you later.

PS Mrs Moneypenny - what are you reading?
usually i read tudor/historical novels but the one im on at the mo is Hot Property by Zoe Barnes its quite modern and a bit of a chick flick about a young woman who gets left a decrepit old house with a sitting tennant, ive just got to where shes doing it up and the mum who abandonded her as a child is back on the scene.
i hope your mum is much improved soon
chalky just been back a page to admire your photos, you all look wonderful. the bride looks stunning-i love her dress.SPC~12 ot 124

Talking of books, I'm reading The Ninth Life of Louis Drax - it's the strangest but most compelling book, where you find yourself inside someone's dark mind. It's by Liz Jensen. So far, it's the weirdest book I've read!

I've just started a Patricia Cornwell book - Blow Fly, my charity shop treat £1 for the hardback. I'm anticipating a delightfully gruesome read
