Well done ilovetea! Isn't it lovely when something works out! psso (Elaine) is going to be part of one of the new Loving Hands groups which she seems to be keeping quiet about on here :D. Don't be shy Elaine! It's so good to have people who know stuff on here - I've had many questions answered by these lovely expert ladies. I keep thinking about how much fun it would be if we could all meet for a knit and natter - curse the geography!
Shez - lovely boobs! Glad they liked them.
Have just settled down to watch Little House on the Prairie mini series (I loved the books) but just realised it doesn't finish until 2 am  and we can't record sky :(

    Morning everybody
    Well dry but grey here.

Totally obsessed with hedgehogs and eyelash wool at the moment. I am leaving the features til last when I will try and get them right all at once. So these little blind hedgies are all over the worksurfaces.

This is just a carry on from the teddy Bears Picnic !!!! We started to think of names for them all beginning with "h"

Harriet, Hattie , Helena , Helen , Honor , Helga, Hester, Henrietta, Hetty, Holly, Hannah, Hayley, Hilary, Heidi, Heather, Hazel, Hilda, Hyacinth, Honey,Harmony

Horace, Henry, Hector, Haribo, Hercules, Horatio, Herbert, Harold, Hugo, Harvey, Hans, Hadley, Humphrey, Hugh, Hogan, Hamilton, Hamlet, Harry, Howard, Hal, Hank

    And Unisex--- Hippy, Happy, Hoppy,

Well that will take me a while to knit that lot and I bet you lot can think of more !!!!!

Happy Hedgehog days everyone. Maytaurus I wish I had your magic at my fingertips!!!!
Hugs to Shaz ( HUG )
Try and do a good deed every day.

Good morning to all you expert knitters - I have a couple of questions:

Is it possible to convert a 4 ply knitting pattern to use with double knitting wool - is it a case of just changing the needle size or can it not be done? The reason I ask is that my local wool shop sells lovely 200g balls of double knitting baby wool in all sorts of different colours, so I tend to buy that, also I'm not so keen on knitting in 4 ply, but I have got a couple of patterns which I tried and like but they're both in 4 ply.

Shezmit - with the warmer weather coming along do the hospitals use less of things like blankets and more just cardies, hats and booties? I had been including some blankets with the things I send to my local hospital but maybe it's worth swapping to less warm things for the coming months?

Hope everyone has a good day, sorry I don't get a chance to post very often but I follow it all in the background and almost feel like I know you all anyway. Great hints and tips from everyone, and I have found some fantastic patterns via Maytaurus' links.

I'm so glad I found this forum, thanks to everyone who makes it the great place that it is. :j

Morning all - hope everyone is well and that those who aren't they feel the hugs radiating from london.

Shelley - that amount of boobage - i think its what one would call gifted! i am not sure which ones i liked best, but the blue one tickled me - very cold boob indeed!

have not done much knitting today, hopefully will get some done this evening, must go into the loft and get more wool as i am running out.

oh well, stuff to do and i think i am quite cold, my hands are like ice - nothing like a bit of knitting to warm them up, methinks.

    be happy
