purple teddybear, you are so lucky to live near textere mills, i just love it, was my first visit, but i will be sure to go again. i bought some lovely soft cotton yarn, that i intend to make some summer tops for myself as well as for loving hands, bought more baby wool, as they had some lovely shades, and some textured pure wool, that i am going to knit into a bag for my hols.

Not a cheap trip then Shaz? :rotfl:
I'm jealous - there is nothing like that this end of the country! I counted myself lucky when I got a couple of the famous B&M balls on our Easter trip. Mind you, I was very happy at the Aldi baby wool and hope they do that again.
Had a look at your blog Shelley - beautiful stuff. DPixie's buntings looked like a little rainbow in the pics.
Hoping to get DH to post parcel to Shelley and LH tomorrow.
  • I am naughty, naughty, naughty!!!

Was only popping in to Texere (it's literally 10 minutes away) to pick up some toy stuffing and whoops, managed to come away with some little bits in the shape of some"midget gem" wool in bright blue, red and pastels (knits up as DK and it has bobbles in it...lovely to knit with), along with some bright blue DK, some snowflake effect stuff in cream, some cottons (snap shaz!!) and something else that I can't quite remember! And I remembered to get the stuffing.

Glad you enjoyed the trip over Shaz, next time you're coming let me know and we can perhaps meet for a coffee or something?

*ONLY* spent £20 though, so only half as bad as last time!!

Shelley - parcel of boobs will be heading your way towards the end of next week, not too sure how many there will be in the end, but I'm on 15 now and counting. Quite enjoying doing them, although there are some bizarre colour combinations which I hope will raise a smile. Have managed to get two done today! It's using the odd bits and bobs up. Am sure we will blitz the target.

Anyway, better go and get something constructive done (like sorting littlies clothes for tomorrow - saves so much time in the morning!).

    Night night all,

    Dawn x x

Just finished a little white shrug and DC in pink around the sleeves. It looks really sweet but I'm not sure if I've sewn up enough arm length. I will have to get one of my boys to model it tomorrow which I'm sure they will be delighted about!

    Night x
Any news on poor cut-off-Kathy, Jean?
