  • Pippa S - Anne you make me feel quite inadequate (sp) my boobies may be a might bigger but for colour and variety yours take the prize every time............you must be all boobed out! I Love the colour combinations - I did wonder about a tattoo onto one of mine but DH said that would be a step too far and just what would I depict - so I shall ponder that for a couple of days and see what my evil brain comes up with. I have so nearly finished all that awful green wool of mine, poor IS hats - if you see any of mine in the supermarket - avoid them at all costs.

JEAN, I saw your green hats yesteday and they reminded me of the paintwork when we moved in here 18 years ago - we had a quick trip to B&Q for GALLONS of white paint I can tell you :rotfl:

Maytaurus - I love your cute chuckle -pup !! It really cheered me up.

Well, have just been doing a doggy blanket as I can`t be bothered with anything which demands concentration just now - loads to do but the `get up and go ` has got up and GONE. Hope it comes back soon.
By the way, DH had his tablets `tweaked` when he saw the doctor last week so he`s a bit better - have to see what the surgeon says about things next week. Thanks for your good wishes.

Inspired by Anne's boobs  on Wooligans I have just uploaded mine. Missing is the unstuffed green and yellow one!
Elaine, hope DH is feeling better now.
Working on a shrug for LH now - it's either the same or very similar stitch to the blanket in the photo, so it's going OK.
    Night all x

  • Hello everyone, great posts and photos, I love reading them, just don't post much myself when I'm not feeling so good :o

I didn't manage to make it to the post office this week, so my parcel for Loving Hands shall be sent next week- good to know that we can make lots of different items not just the challenge ones... when PreemiesUK doesn't need anymore boobs I shall send them on to LH instead :D

Shelley, I've sent you a small packet, and another one should be in the post soon, trying to fit 3 boobs and a bunting into a large letter :D

I also started knitting big chunky squares to make up into dog blankets... but my friend likes them too much and wants the blanket for himself :rotfl:and he thinks knitting's too nice for animals  but then our dogs would chew up everything

Day off, so shall have a nice afternoon knitting

Have a good day everyone, Jo xx

morning all, excited this morning, my support worker is coming with me to textere wool mills in bradford, they have a website if anybody interested, a whole day looking at all the beautiful wool and yarns, my credit card is ready to be used seriously lol :rotfl: :rotfl:

hopefully later on i will get the items for shelly packaged up and sent of first thing ommorrow, lots aaron square, buntings and few vent hats, must get more of them done when i feel more up to it, had a couple days of knitting, as been feeling so tired again.

my grandad, taught my mum and uncle to knit when they where children, i keep trying with my sons, but they dont have much patience, which is understandable, both have severe adhd, and learning difficulties.

has anyone tried loom knitting? have bought a knitting loom a couple weeks ago, but not tried it yet,

    hope everyone well

Has anyone used Parcels to Go-- are they absolutely fussy as to size of box and what size is 5 cubic feet anyway ?

When are we supposed to update these days-- is it at weekends?
I tried to join the Yahoo site to see all these wonderful piccies and I have to wait to be approved by the moderator==Is Kathy the moderator or can 1 of you kind peeps who are already members help?
