Good morning all, my this thread is always so busy! I always pop in and but these days don't seem to be getting the chance to post very often!

Still busy knitting, just got some lovely baby wool that's knitting up so soft, so am enjoying myself lol!

Forgot to update last weekend, so here we go:

Good afternoon ladies - well its wet here - sun did come out for a little while but now a bit cold and black - hmm we were spoilt this week

Shezmit - that got to you quick and it was 2nd just goes to show there is not much difference - glad the bits were ok

Anyway I am getting a verbal running commentary of the F1qualifying from my son - so I had better go and watch it with him and he has just informed me that the sun has just come back out so maybe its looking up

Well I am so happy :j:j:j I sat down this morning , stopped procrastinating and put the new zip in my dress for DS's wedding ( It had a broken zip when I bought it but I loved it the dress. Then I had 2 put in professionally and they both broke !!!:eek::eek:) Well I had nearly decided I would have to go out and buy a new dress BUT it worked and I actually tried the dress on properly for the first time with jacket, hat etc and it fits !! OH says it looks lovely so all sorted and I am so relieved. Amazingly I found a new pair of shoes in the wardrobe that I had totally forgeotten about so I am sorted!!

So now I have just the favour bags to fill and then I can knit , knit, knit to my hearts content;););)

Horrible here so am going to batten down the hatches let OH watch telly and sort out the Freecycling wool.

Hi everyone. Visiting my friend today and using her PC. I am now due to be connected to the internet next Thursday (30th) - fingers crossed that France Telecom have finished all their faffing about.

LC Wilson - I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. The friend I am with today had a mastectomy six years ago and has come through it all really well. Lots of (((hugs))) to your sister-in-law and family at such a worrying time for you all.

We have been really busy here working on the house and garden; there's still loads to do but the pace of life is so much slower here that what doesn't get done today will get done tomorrow - apparently!

Chalky - I hope all the wedding plans are going smoothly. By the way, I've just 'approved' you on the Yahoo group - and two other people. I'm so sorry you've had to wait. Roamin in the gloamin mentioned it to me when she phoned me yesterday. You'll be able to see all the great photos now!

Well, I'd better go - we are dog -sitting four dogs here! My friend takes in dogs for people while they're on holiday. She's at work at the moment so we are in charge of a massive hairy poodle, a half-wolf, a spaniel and a half-whippet! We took them out earlier and must have looked a sight - the dogs are all different shapes, sizes and colours!

Would love to participate in a meet-up, but we do seem to be quite scattered so I thought that the idea which Chalky75 mentioned about a craft fair sounded good

I'm just starting my 4th preemie baby blanket and I have the wool for another - just getting into it again after a bout of flu last week.

Do I send the finished articles to someone on this thread or to the Loving Hands group?
