Update from me. Haven't updated for a couple of weeks but have been knitting loads!! True to form lots of hats and a couple of cardis to the mix. Just to match the hats !:rotfl:
I'm using a link from bevs country cottage for the cardi. But I'm using the boys version not the girls as I was confused by the whole hole business. :rotfl: MSE won't let me post links, so no link..sorry. I'll have to post more until they let me!!

I'm just starting my 4th preemie baby blanket and I have the wool for another - just getting into it again after a bout of flu last week.
Do I send the finished articles to someone on this thread or to the Loving Hands group?
Hi there Sagaris, sounds like you're enjoying making blankets - I do as well. Its your choice where to send them - most commonly people on this forum send them to either PreemiesUK or Loving Hands both of the organizations make sure everything we send goes to a good home.
Drop a post on here for Shezmit & she will PM you the address for PreemiesUk and ask Lou on Loving Hands.
hope this helps
luv

Hi crumblepie - nice to hear from you again - I like that cardi pattern you're using, i've done a couple with the holes and thought I'd try the 'boys' version next. I'm doing blankets just now - 3 knitted ones and the crochet project I posted last weekend, I feel the urge for something smaller, may have to knit a few hats.......

Hi slm6002, glad you found your way here! I picked up the knitting needles in January after about 30 years of not knitting, and found it's kind of like riding a bike, you never forget!!
I can't help you with a pattern unforunately, but I just know someone will be along shortly with ideas for you! Well done you for planning ahead, you should have plenty time!

Thanks, glad i am not the only one to return. I remember it took nearly the whole easter holidays to make a wooly hat and the bobble on top was quite loose so wobbled from side to side! Also thinking if i cant do the ponchos maybe slippers? I will also make some squares for the good causes that i have seen on here.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
