I'm just starting my 4th preemie baby blanket and I have the wool for another - just getting into it again after a bout of flu last week. :(

Do I send the finished articles to someone on this thread or to the Loving Hands group?

Hi there Sagaris, sounds like you're enjoying making blankets - I do as well. Its your choice where to send them - most commonly people on this forum send them to either PreemiesUK or Loving Hands both of the organizations make sure everything we send goes to a good home.

Drop a post on here for Shezmit & she will PM you the address for PreemiesUk and ask Lou on Loving Hands.

    hope this helps

Hi crumblepie - nice to hear from you again - I like that cardi pattern you're using, i've done a couple with the holes and thought I'd try the 'boys' version next. I'm doing blankets just now - 3 knitted ones and the crochet project I posted last weekend, I feel the urge for something smaller, may have to knit a few hats.......

Hi slm6002, glad you found your way here! I picked up the knitting needles in January after about 30 years of not knitting, and found it's kind of like riding a bike, you never forget!!

I can't help you with a pattern unforunately, but I just know someone will be along shortly with ideas for you! Well done you for planning ahead, you should have plenty time!

Thanks, glad i am not the only one to return. I remember it took nearly the whole easter holidays to make a wooly hat and the bobble on top was quite loose so wobbled from side to side! Also thinking if i cant do the ponchos maybe slippers? I will also make some squares for the good causes that i have seen on here.

prfungi - I love the 5 hour cardi !! knit pretty much in one with not much sewing up ( I hate doing that bit) no fiddly pattern really... I'm getting to the stage I hardly have to look at the pattern. i haven't done the matching hats from the site I'm just making up my own versions.:D

MSE still won't let me link!
