    Hi Everyone,

Maytaurus - Thank you for the link to baby triceratops I'm sure he will love it, Ds2 will be impressed he's only five and our house has been invaded by dinosaurs I feel like I live in the jurassic preiod. He was diagnosed with autism late last year and I had been warned about the obsessions he would have but I had no idea how intense he would be about it.

Still as long as he's happy it's fine by me.

I hope everyone has sunshine like we have here it's glorious out there.

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

    Speak soon, Eve. x

    Hi

Just popping in for a quick update, but my thoughts are with those who are having tough times.

Shezmit - I've taken most of my stuff into my local hospital (saving you at least some postage) but I've got some boobs and buntings to send you - can you PM me your address please? Hope to be able to get to the post office sometime this week to send them.

    My update for this week:

    4 boobs
    2 cardies

I've updated my signature so that should be correct.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

    Helen

    Hi All
I have finished my crochet baby blanket :j
and it's got shells round the outside :j
and - they look like shells! :j
Very pleased with myself, can you tell? :rotfl:
Even DH is impressed and he doesn't impress easily, just like Shania Twain:D
I am going to try and get him to help me put some Wooligans pics on if he is up to it.
Shelley, not sure whether holey blankets are OK for UK babes?
    Will update later.
Not sure that I feel like picking up my two needles again - might stick to hooking for a while. Who'd have thought!
Anne, are you taking yarn supplies or having a break on your cruise?

Hi - lovely day today - makes you happy when its sunny

Maytaurus - thanks for your help but unfortunately have tried all those things with computer - a fan or something has broken inside and needs replacing the broken fan makes processor run slow (so he who shall be obeyed tells me :rotfl::rotfl:blah blah blah - really if he doesnt want to talk about wool or card making I really am not interested ha ha ha )

Thanks for answers on dog blankets & glove puppets

Oh well we have another race tomorrow - lets hope our boys do better than the last few races - its an early one (China) starts 7.00 am (not sure whether my eyelids will be open by then ........)

Had a stroke of luck today - didnt get to my Mums but our local town hall had an NSPCC table top sale - had a look and glad I did - lady selling wool £1 per ball (some £1.20 but still not out of the way) and she has left me her phone number if and when want more - so just like most of you ladies have problems with wool it sort of crept into a carrier bag and crept home with me ....... its now multiplying in the cupboard and down the side of my chair and some on my craft desk - oh dear me - :o:p:o:p:o

Anyway just thought I would hop on and say hi - love and best wishes to you all - hope tomorrow is as good as today Jaqui xxxx (aka f1widow)

took some wool and needles to my mum's a couple weeks ago and told her about the aaron squares for shelly, as her hands are bad, and she cant knit big things anymore, any way today she gave me a bag with 36 aaron squares :j going to take her more wool so she can carry on knitting with us.

in one charity shop today they were selling 50g balls wool for a pound, needless to say i didnt buy, went into another charity shop, and they had 10 100g balls dk, when i asked how much he said 1.99, which was great, also wanted another couple pair needles which they had, and they let me have for free as i was buying the wool :T

f1 widow, glad you found somebody selling wool a pound a ball, thats what i try to pay, or less if i can like today,
my stash has multiplied so much, we had to have the loft converted into a craft room, its almost done, just need a carpet in there, then all my balls wool can move into their new home together :p
