morning all - i have just had a lovely piece of chocolate with chilli - very very very delicious, especially with a cup of coffee.

haven't done much knitting today - am too cross - was sent a birthday present by my MIL and the post office has lost it. they promised me that they would track it and then phone me and let me know where it is - but guess what - no phone call and still no present. i know its months past my birthday, but it was something that i was looking forward to.

perhaps if i go and knit for a while, i will feel better.

have a wonderful day, and just think all that lovely rain is watering the garden, so its just another thing you dont have to do!

Well, we`ve got a lovely sunny but breezy day, great for getting the washing dry :T

Had stressful morning --had to take Dd3 in to town and buy her some new clothes *groan* Hate going in to town, hate going shopping, hate buying clothes, hate having to SPEND money (it`s the MSE in me taking over) so just to cheer myself up I dragged her into a lovely shop and bought knitting in lace, ribbons and bows for my projects.

Came home to find DH had taken advantage of the fact that I was away and was doing stuff in the garden - he`s not supposed to overdo things `cos of his dicky ticker - think I`ll have to tie him to a chair for a while:confused:

Off out again for a couple of hours (paid employment) then back home to put the feet up with a cuppa and the needles.
Enjoy the rest of your day chums.

    Afternoon all,
Hope it's as sunny where you are as it is here.

F1widow- I think I must have done the same boob pattern as you I have a perfect top half of a boob but the base doesn't fit at all, I tried twice with no luck, have now found the all in one boob pattern so will give that a try.

I am ashamed to say I have no updates this week have been so busy keeping ds's busy and have had family staying as well the only knitting I have been doing is the dinsaurs for ds2 as he is obsessed with dinosaurs he saw the patterns and has been haunting me since, ds1 wants them now too.

    Enjoy your easter everyone.:easter:

onlygirl - yes the "all in one" pattern is coming on a treat - nearly finished just on the "nipple" (hmmm ........) - Im glad im not the only one who could not get the top to fit the bottom (so to speak) - good luck with yours!

Very quiet in here - I did have to chuckle at the little pic of the smiley eating the choc - I feel like that when Im looking at wool in a shop!!!! you just have to buy a ball

Pam how was your whisky last night??? sounds like you were having a good time with a little tipple - just dont drip it on the knitting ha ha :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:- still i have enough trouble with a cup of tea and a ginger nut !

chalky - glad to hear you arrived safely (if not bumpy!)

Well i might pop back on later to see how everyone is doing ???

Are we updating this weekend?? - take care love Jaquixxx:easter::easter_ba

    Afternoon all,

Weather awful here so spending some time knitting this weekend. Decided to concentrate on boob jobs over the Easter weekend as I think Shezmit needs them for middle of May? I agree that the all-in-one pattern is nice and easy and fairly quick to do.

Anyway here's my update for this week:

    2 cardies
    1 hat
    1 booties
    4 boobs

My signature should be up to date.

Will go back to preemie clothes after Easter, but hope to have done a few more boobs by the end of this weekend and will try to post them and some buntings I've got next week, but I'll let you know when they're on their way, Shezmit (other baby clothes etc which I've completed I'm taking straight to my local hospital to save you postage).

Sounds as though some of you at least have some good weather but I'm trying to make the most of the valuable knitting time while I can't get out and do anything outside, so at least it's good for something!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

    Helen

    Happy Easter everyone

Pam - I have posted my latest totals above and this week I havent forgotten anything  (I hope) x

Chalky - nice to see you back, sounds like the sea was a bit errrmm uneven;) for your crossing. We sailed across the Bay of Biscay once and ...._pale__pale__pale_.....never again, we had been on cruises before and I'd never been sea-sick, so it came as a bit of a shock when I went green and.... well.....lets just say its an experience I hope never to repeat ;):rotfl: wont stop us going on another cruise though, I love it.

f1widow - glad the pattern is working for you :T much better is'nt it?

OnlyGirl - I hope your Dinosaur turns out better than mine, it looked like a fish with legs, and Lou (L/H) thought it was a lizard, so I think I will stick to boobs, at least they look like what they are supposed to be :D

plans for tonight, watch Doctor Who and finish another boob off.

better go and get cleaned up, I've been eating a magnum (Morrisons own) while doing this and I've got it all over my T-Shirt, goodness knows what my DGD's would say, they 'd probably have me wearing a bib :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
