thanks to everyone who wanted to know if it was still quiet about the house but not any longer:A yesterday I was able to talk on the phone:T instead of texting
the only thing that I got out of this rotten cold is a bad back from all the coughing and 2 cardies and a bunting just have to sew buttons on now

Well there is good news and there is off course bad news

Good news.......................engineer arrived at the appointed hour to sort out Miolieres broadband

Bad news..........................he was there but the box of equipment for the broadband and the tv and phone system wasn't

booo

Good news …...............he has given Kathy (Mioliere) his phone number so she can ring him as soon as the Postman delivers all the bits and bobs...........yipee

just how long is a piece of string?

As I am waiting on Lou at Loving Hands to issue the next challenge and I am getting very excited only have to wait till Sunday I believe so I am trying out some funny knitting stuff I need to report prfungi – I am not impressed with my efforts with that garterlac it takes far too much paying attention for my likeing, how am I to manage watching/listening to the to the telly in french, drinking my daily quota of wine, reading the pattern and knitting at the same time I am not wonder woman So can you just resurrect that old shaggy dog and continue your trials for the knitted woven blanket?

I am occupied with wash cloths and dish cloths all in cotton and I am pleased with the first couple, just might have to do a load more and pass them out to friends and family and stop them using the chuck away cloths.

Glad you liked them. PamsPal knitted them - I just throw stitch patterns at her and she sorts out the necessary adjustments (crafty eh!) so very much a joint effort. I'll get the details & draft the patterns - no problem. There were a couple if hats in the box - shall I do patterns for them as well?

Query - got some more of the lovely wool but its quite a bit darker - a definite turquoise - is this too much for burial items?

i had to show you the email i've just had from Emma, the orgainser of the 'friends of St Thomas' choir' I'd already handed in all the previous items i'd recieved from wonderful people via this site. After recieving todays paccel from purpleteddybear i sent her an email saying she might need to buy more creme eggs for the craft stall as a new flock of chicks had flown in :T

Shelley - have just taken a pic of my latest boobs and posted them on our Wooligans site, errrmmm I hope they are ok, I got a bit fed up doing plain ones so I thought I would just JAZZ them up a bit I will get them off to you tomorrow.

Pam + Jean - I have had a look at the garterlac pattern.... whew.....too much concentration for me at the mo girls, very impressive though, will try when my head is right, and I have a bit of peace and quiet :rotfl:

Aeshna - hope its cleared up a bit for you now. I like doing the little blankets too, trouble is my DGD's keep asking for them for their dolls

Been sorting some wool out that a friend gave me a while ago and found some crochet cotton in amongst it, nice colours blue, light green and a creamy colour, so will have a go at some dishcloths or a stripey bag I saw somewhere if there is enough,
