Jean - heaven it is - what more can a girl ask for (other than a real bed - and we now have one of those too). Painting of the house is starting on thursday or friday and then its up to me to get the gas leak sorted the next time i am there (which is in a couple of weeks). we still have not managed to get further than the "please wait the line is busy" message with france telecom, but i will try that from here in the uk - its cheaper than doing it from my mobile in france. however, i must advise that wine stocks in france are in good order, therefore, workers (a friend and i) are happy to do all sorts of things and we have proved to be very good cleaners - not that it lasts long with workmen around!!:rotfl:

    Good morning/afternoon fellow knitters

Thanks for asking about the lost voice Anne still haven't found it  but I do have this funny feeling that the other half has found it but just not telling as he likes the peace and quiet but he will be sorry when I get it back:T

I always remember the wry comment from the DH of a very loud friend with laryngitis, saying he had to keep clapping his hands to check he hadn't gone deaf :rotfl:

    Love to all,

Good [STRIKE]morning[/STRIKE] afternoon all, HUGS to everyone - we all need one sometimes. Just back from the local tea shop - had brunch with PamsPal, yummy Omlette & salad. We were very good - NO CAKE - PP has weightwatchers tomorrow, I save my treat for the evenings.

Shezmit - just posted a parcel - forgot to put a note in :o its in an Amazon box - sure you'll recognize the nice wool again.
I've had to give up on the boobs - have sent you 8 - they really make my wrist ache. PP has made loads of buntings & gowns, might give her a sleeping bag pattern next, She has applied all sorts of stitch patterns to the buntings, I think they look lovely.
Do you use a specific pattern for the Bears or can I suit myself - I have some lovely wool set aside.

    Maytaurus, how are you today?

Roamin - hows the garterlac progressing? - I'm going to swatch those stitches I found for the "interwoven" project this evening - I'll let you know how they go.

Off to a garden centre next - there's always room for another plant!

    'bye for now

    Luv
    Pam

    Help, please -

My pattern for a simple knitted bunting has gone walkabout and I can only find a complicated-looking one through the first post. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks,

    Chris
