I know this is a long post but I have just typed it out 3 times, post it and lose it.
Sorry I haven’t posted for a while , lifes been a little hectic of late. Had parents staying with us for nearly 2 weeks (mum has MS). Funny enough, they are trying to move back from France.
Last Sunday, DS took a nasty knock at Rugby and we spent all day and half of the night at Kings College Hospital with him strapped to a bed. We had to wait 9 hours for a Neurosurgeon to look at his scans. ( Can you believe there is only one team for the whole of South East England:mad:) Luckily, no serious damage, but a couple of sleepless nights checking on him and worrying everytime he nodded of or said he had a headache. I would rather they kept him in hospital overnight. He’s OK now.:T
DD went off on a school trip to France this morning. Had to be at the coach by 5am. Now DD is not a morning person – school days are a nightmare – it takes ages to get her up and out. This morning – no problem:rolleyes:. Came back home, went back to sleep and didn’t wake up till 10.30. I love school holidays.:j
Shelly - Well done. I shall post a parcel to you today.
K2Tog - I want that wool too. Mentioned it to OH ‘Not more wool!’ I said I wanted to knit myself something for a change.
Maytaurus- I had what they suspected was ME when I was 17 and used to get comments like ‘You wait till you have kids, then you’ll know what tired is’ so I know where your coming from. Still get odd spells now ( but thats me all over – slightly odd):rotfl:.
Happy knitting to allWooligans member 2010 - 6 animal blankets. 2 angel wraps, 2 baby hat, 4 Aaron squares, 5 cardigans

Hi all,
After a very frustrating weekends work I'm sorry to report that - so far - a knitting pattern for the glorious Interwoven Blanket is not yet on the cards.
I sussed the logic, however, with the materials I have to hand the experiment failed
- I got about halfway through the base when I gave up - it looked like a wrap for a strawberry pot :rotfl:and was quite flimsy.
I think :think:I'll have to go up to a chunky wool or use a stitch which is a quite firm, maybe a honeycomb:idea: or something similar. I will have another go - maybe over the Easter weekend.
Are you sure you can't crochet one?:heartsmil
I wanted to actually produce something so I've started another Baby Blanket - with a reversible stitch - this one is a bit easier than the Mock Cable one I did but still just knit and purl - no twisting - so, when its finished I'll send the pattern to Shezmit.
'bye for now
