Anne, I think you're right -this is the lovliest thread I've come across. Much happier here than lurking on the scary ones - but I keep peeking!
Still trying to decide which "project" (to me, anything bigger than preemie!) to try next. I still get little stuff done because I like the variety while I'm doing bigger stuff and I like to finish things regularly because my knitting time can be limited.

i am using up some 3ply wool that i had given me, it`s pure wool and i don`t think it lasts like acrylic, i keep finding i`m knitting a piece of wool about a foot long so it`s going to be very knottyi`m doubling it up and using it to make boobs,that`s all its` good for:o

Shopping trip went well - got a lovely snuggly cardi for winter evenings, an autumn weight jacket and a nice linen top for the summer.
Feet hot and sore by the time we got home so going to put them up while I tackle another boob job tonight. :j
