    Part of the Furniture
    Afternoon all

chalky - Love your latest knits Marvin and Sid, they look great:T

crumblepie - Loving Hands will take all sizes, as well as charities in the UK they send all over the world, for babies, children and the elderly, they also do school jumpers for children, in Africa I think it is:confused: .
Just want to say though that in some overseas countries white is the colour for death, but Lou will sort and send all items where they are most needed so anything is always welcome.:A

prfungi - I am sure they will be fine, its surprising how tiny the Preemies are,
Shaz - What a  no falling down juice!!!! Not even 1 ???

Well the meeting between our DGD's and our new DGS went really well the girls had been warned not to get too noisy as he is a bit shy, (I daresay that will soon change) They all got on very well he was a bit wary at first but soon overcame that.
I know DS2 and DIL have only had him for 3 weeks but he has settled down really well and it seems like he has always been there :A
So that is another hurdle over, next one is the adoption.

Off to do some vent hats now and the sofa is calling me, wonder whats on TV ???

Thanks for letting me know Loving Hands take all sizes.

I got a bit carried away earlier and started knitting a cardi - let's just say it was a bit of a disaster!! My fault to pick something that I thought would be easy and wasn't as there was a pattern in it. So I'll stick to what I know and crochet for now.

On that front : add another 6 hats, 1 pair booties and 2 buntings to my total.

    afternoon all

    hope all are well

i hope the move is going well for kathy

bazarre request from one of my friends, we were on the park after school the other night and someone mentioned an icebreaker game that was played at a recent team building thing shed been on. you have a bag that has items in that sum you up as a person. a straw poll quickly went round asking what we would have in our bag that summed up the person we were and our interests.my frined asked what i would have in mine apart from postcards and stamps for doing competitions? i replied photos of DH & the kids, my knitting and a philippa gregory novel. well her face was apicture she spluttered you read and knit. It just so happened i had a 1/2 done boob on needles in my bag so i showed it her. she has offered my daughter the number of childline for having a disturbed mum who knits weird things. but today asked me if i can make her hubby a boobhat:rotfl: hes a policeman and the nickmame for the hats is something similar to that so ive been asked to make a bobble type hat with a boob on the top as an icebreaker prop for when hes doing his young offender talks.
hoping to get some knitting done tonight as ive been out and brought quantum of solace this morning so with that and 24 tonight ivegot lots of sitting down time planned;)

I would have a small sketchpad, my knitting and crafting items, any patricia cornwall book and a picture of my family. Plus are the usual stuff that's in my handbag that I can't seem to not carry around
