    Hi crumblepie

Check the Loving Hands site, I think they take full size baby stuff and they can normally find a good home for just about anything as they are in touch with so many different charities.

    Morning all.
A bit on the chiily side here in Aberdeen - slight snow showers earlier this morning..brrrrrr. Not much knitting going on yet as I came across a bag of preemie things which need to be sewn up **groan**.

Crumblepie - you could send your bigger items to Loving Hands, info on page 1 of this thread as they will take anything you produce and find a good home for it.

Right, off to have a coffee and sew up some more seams. Be back later.
    Happy Monday everyone.

    Good Morning all!

well - Mum enjoyed her visit yesterday - I finally made a chocolate cake with strawberry jam and rich buttercream filling - she ate two large pieces and took two pieces back to the home for supper! I had a tiny slice (diabetes prevents piggy pieces) Pamspal visited & took the last piece back for her DH.

I showed Mum my latest knitting efforts - she was highly amused by the alien boobs and thought the hats were lovely (trust a mum).

I did another hat, some mittens and A bootee last night, only one bootee 'cos its so small not sure its right, about 1.5" foot, any thoughts?

    :jWooligans Totals 2010:
2 preemie hats, 2 preemie gowns, 1 bunting, 1 sleeping bag, 12 chalky squares
  • Afternoon everyone,
Chalky love the sea creatures, don't think I have the patience to knit them tho-
PSSO, Elaine will you stop making snow men and get back to the knitting!
I finished two little burial cribs and a pair of memory caches (bags) and posted them off to Shelley (Shezmit), waiting to hear what she thinks of them - as well as a couple more T cosy hats to make it up for postage, photo's on wooligans.
prfungi-Pam I was going to ask for a piece of cake but see that I have missed the boat - I am sure they all enjoyed it.
I have started a little blanket but am strugling with the edges - just no good at crochet - must give it some further thought and see what I can come up with to finish it off.
Kathy must be on her way back to the UK as my weather is now sunny again. Off to do a bit more gardening, perhaps get back a bit later. Hope you all have a really good - productive day

Hi Jean - don't worry too much about the edges if just a bit uneven - a round of DC or Half treble (english versions) should neaten it up nicely, especially in a contrasting colour.

    luv
