I'm afraid I succumbed to Aldi too but only for baby wool. Do you think Martin has spies out - after all we are supposed to money saving not spending .....Have I missed the update? I will have to pay attention more. Anyway for next time please add 1 cardi and 1 baby blanket
Good luck with the move, Kathy. I know how stressful it is.
Have a nice week everyone.

Hi Gang
Hmmmmmmmmmm - Sunday evening - done my good deed for today - just had little bro here for a roast beef dinner. So here I am, coffee & Baileys then back to the latest blanket or maybe refresh my memory on crocheting a circle for "boobs".
I've had a little sort out of my stash & decided I've enough cream aran to knit a family of sweaters - about half of in unfinished projects; - obviously need a "big" sort out - not been in the loft yet!
Kathy - hope you stay awake through Lark Rise. Enjoy!
'bye for now
Pam

Good morning all. Yes, Pam, I DID manage to stay awake through Lark Rise, but only because DH kept nudging me saying 'I thought you wanted to watch this'!! Thanks for your pm - I've pm'd you back.
Everyone - Prfungi has kindly offered to cross-check the numbers in my last update, which will highlight any more mistakes I may have made in my last update. Thanks, Prfungi - it's reassuring to know that I have someone else checking it.
We're in the last few days of packing now and, although we have done loads, there still seems to be lots to do! We have loads of bags to take to the local charity shop this morning; I can't believe how much we have decluttered! The worst thing is not being able to just concentrate solely on the packing - we still have to eat and wear clean ironed clothes! I have a dental check-up tomorrow, a haircut on Thursday and, on Wednesday, we're picking the grandchildren up from school and taking them to Pizza Hut for dinner, although we are really looking forward to that and it will be a nice break from all the hassle here.
Anyway, nothing to add to the totals from me, I'm afraid, but I will try and do hats and booties when I can, and post them from France. If I stick to doing the really small things, I'll have more of a chance of adding to the totals.
Well, off for another cuppa!
See you all later.

One reason I've never watched it before is that I've never been that mad on Patrick Swayze BUT - I soon changed my mind about him once I'd seen the film! Also, it's not the sort of film DH would have watched, either - and still wouldn't! Sadly, I can't get him to watch Pride and Prejudice several times, either!

oooo he makes me go weak at the knees, hard to believe how ill he is though isnt it???
The Pride and Predudice hunk, Colin Firth is another that makes me go wobbly and if I remember rightly he is one of your favourites, Mr Darcy, isnt he Kathy
BTW my totals are RIGHT :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: only joking IYKWIM x
You are doing a grand job with all you have going on at the mo.

morning all
got my priorities right this morning im sitting here with a duckling & a boob on my knee sewing up while im checking in.:T (brekie pots waiting to be washed and the ironing board is set up cos i had to iron school stuff before the kids could get dressed this morning as i spent too much of the weekend knitting:o
was more than a tad annoyed yesterday when i found a scarf project had come out of its bag and slipped off the needle:mad: its that horrible ribbon yarn with holes in so ill have to pull some down to find the stitches again- serves me right for abandoning it i suppose.
glad you managed to watch lark rise kathy, we were watching damages last night but hubby slept through most of that
have a good day all
just had a count up of the finished stuff i have here, chcked it off against my totals and worked out what ive done since friday when i updated. ive written my current totals on a post it note and will do a tally mark for each extra item ive knitted (or do this week) then when im ready to update again next week i can just total my tally marks up. i'll keep my post it till ive checked afer the update is posted then start a new one. m sure everyone has their own system but have just posted this in case it helps anyone else.SPC~12 ot 124

I do the same Mrs Moneypenny
My totals didn't get included in the last update, but don't worry can just be done in the next one. Would it make it easier for you Kathy to have a separate post where we put our weekly updates so they didn't get 'lost' in the chat and you had less to look through? You have so much to do want to make things easier for you!
