oooo Dirty Dancing one of the all time must see films, I've seen it sooo many times and still get that same warm glow when it finishes ahhh

Kathy - you can take my Chalky totals off the main update if you like, it will save a few charcters for you, and by the looks of it and the way we are all producing(I mean that in the nicest possible way);) you are going to need all you can get

In Search of Me - Lorna's right its a good idea to sort out the right sts with a sample bit first, and easier as it means no unpicking if its too big/small. you're doing great and you know, you're half way there because you want to do it :T

Shelley - 2 blankets are done just need to press them now, I'll do another few buntings then get them off to you

Thanks pepys...I am with weezl for lunch so may ask for some guidance on the size as she's good at knitting and will "get" it straight away! Discovered that I can knit while watching tv which I cant do with any of the other hobbies like cross stitch, beading etec as takes more brain energy and it an extention of my age concern volunteering! Have asked on freecycle for wool/needles if anyone has ones they dont want!
oh yes forgot o say...thank you for the lovely st.teresas prayer - have alreay passed it on and will frame it to put up in the house cos its lovely and links in well with my siggy quote but sometimes hard to keep focus that youre doing ok as you are when surrounded by wonderful people!

One reason I've never watched it before is that I've never been that mad on Patrick Swayze BUT - I soon changed my mind about him once I'd seen the film! Also, it's not the sort of film DH would have watched, either - and still wouldn't! Sadly, I can't get him to watch Pride and Prejudice several times, either!

He is just perfect in it isn't he? I only saw it about 4 yrs ago for the first time somehow. My DH has refused to see any film that is billed as "romantic comedy" in the past but if I don't tell him it's supposed to be romcom he will watch it and usually enjoy it!

i have just spent £40 down at aldi's on wool, i told the manager why i was buying the wool and he said he wasn't allowed to donate any, So that really made me :mad:

just knitted my first boob too, used 3ply wool doubled up,seems ok.
can never watch dirty dancing too many times,love it. do you think its a girly thing? never heard a man raving over it.
can u update me with 1 angel gown,1 adult hat,1 boob please
